    earth day

I'm sitting outside enjoying the sun. Just glad to be alive and kicking. Does that count?
  10. This probably wouldn't be a carry gun. I'm looking for a 9mm that is fun to shoot but small enough to carry if I ever wanted to. Thanks for the input though.
  11. Sorry, I had to pick fun at myself before someone else did. In all seriousness I would like to know what you guys think about the newest G19. Thanks.
  12. Good post, but this was already done earlier in another thread. That was one lucky cop
  13. I had a chance to shoot a 3rd gen Glock 19 not long ago and really enjoyed it. My only problem is that I have small hands. I was thinking about holding out and buying a 4th gen G19 but I keep hearing mixed reviews about them. What do you guys think?
  14. WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM??? You act like you run TGO. The OP had a genuine question, not everyone has endless knowledge like you do.
  15. welcome to TGO. I'm sure you will enjoy your time here.
  16. nice collection! especially the p238
  17. damn, why not just take the thing to the vet. Sounds like she did more harm than good.
  18. I could be wrong but it seems to be that a .22 could possible only further cause pain to an animal without killing it. Shot placement would have to be perfect.
  19. I'm really glad you posted this thread because this exact thing happened to me last week. Leaving work, headed down middlebrook pike my co-worker hit a dog. I stopped to help her because she was very upset. When I got to the dog he was still breathing but obviously very very bad off. I called 911 to ask if I was allowed to put the dog out of its misery. Before I got an answer I was disconnected. Just a minute or so later the dog passed away, I pulled him to the side of the rode and called the phone number on the tag, the owners dad showed up and I helped him load it into his car. I would say that it it's the city limits it's probably best not to discharge a gun, I'm glad I didn't have to. Now the creepy part, found out the next day that the dog was a friend of mines. Talk about a small world. She was really glad I called.

    Back from the range

The Sig p238 has very low recoil and is very accurate. I would not recommend the Taurus Slim, I shot one last week and it's a freaking hand cannon. Best of luck
  21. I had infinity door speakers in my 4runner. They sounded great but they blew 3 times. Thank god I bought the extended warranty. I had 4 channel amp powering 2 of the speakers and the other 2 channels were going to a 10"sub. Thats probably why they blew. If I were you, I would just get some basic speakers like pioneer but then invest in a decent amp to power them, you would be amazed how nice they will sound.
  22. I wanted to mention that you manager deserves props for recognizing the potential threat. A lot of managers have their head in the sand when it comes to that sort of thing. We were robbed at gunpoint about a year ago but since I work at a restaurant I'm not supposed to carry. I usually leave my gun in my car and if I'm going to be there really late I pull my car around front. There have been times when my manager has asked me to stay with him to finish up. He says he feels safer knowing I have my gun. If I were you, i would find a way to carry concealed. deep deep concealed if necessary. And don't tell anyone or ask for permission. Worst case scenario you lose your job. Better than your life.
  23. just shoot them and bury them...I wouldn't worry about it.
  24. I'm on Verizon so I had to get a Droid. I've been very pleased, and actually faster than my friends Iphone too!!!
