  1. I took a sharpie and traced the gun. It still needs a little more trimming but overall its really comfortable.
  2. Give me a few minutes and I'll post some
  3. I got my kholster yesterday. I hated it for the first 10 minutes. Then I took my Spyderco to it and gave it a nice combat cut. Now I love it. Only downside I predict is very rapid holster wear
  4. I have often wondered what I would do in the scenario the OP mentioned. I'm a small guy and it wouldn't take much effort if someone wanted to give me a good beat down just due to size differences. My ultimate goal would be to try and put as much distance between myself and the attacker. I don't care what I have to do, if I can get away I'm going to do it. I never ever have to shoot someone, especially an unarmed attacker. I will run like hell if it means getting away from someone.
  5. Right, I'm not saying the 3rd gen is too big. In fact I did enjoy shooting it. But if the 4th gen has a smaller grip and since I do have smaller hands wouldn't it make sense to buy the 4th gen?
  6. +1 that guy deserved what he got. Glad the cop made it home for supper. And you get the award for the best combination of avatar/user name.
  7. Guess I misunderstood. Thanks anyways.
  8. I don't know if I agree it's over-rated. That's like saying you can buy a shoe thats 2 sizes to big but after you walk 1000 miles you foot will get used to it. Anyways, before this turns into a lets move on. Thanks again for your input.
  9. Since the sign isn't legally posted I wouldn't worry about it. But make sure you do NOT tell them that the sign is not legitimate.
  10. It's not that I couldn't make it work, but there are some guns that just feel better in my hands. My Taurus for instance has a smaller grip than my XD so it feels more comfortable in my hands. I was just thinking that if the 4th gen has a smaller grip it might be better for me.
  11. Thanks for the input. Any idea when the gen 4 G19's are supposed to hit the shelves?
  12. Ya I definitely don't see them as more intimidating than a semi. I will say though that the one he carries looks like the dirty harry gun.
  13. you rebel! I always carry at the bank, today when I was talking to the guard he thought I was a LEO. I just told him I had a carry permit and he seemed a bit surprised. He didn't ask if I was packing, I was pretty well concealed today.
  14. Were you all as employees allowed to carry anything?
  15.
  16. We prefer it be called......negotiation
  17. I went to make a deposit at my local First Tennessee. I've been in there several times and often wondered why the armed guard chooses to carry a revolver instead of a semi. So today he was outside drinking his coffee as I was leaving and I decided to ask him. Turns out he is required to carry a revolver because First TN thinks they are more intimidating. Also, it has to be a .38 because they are afraid of over-penetration. He told me he isn't very happy with the decision but he has no choice. He also said that the company he works for recently bought S&W .40's for all their guards recently but for some reason management of the security company won't let anyone carry them. Anyways, I just thought it was interesting.
