They are indeed good guys. I bought my first gun from them last fall. I'm excited to see the new store and especially the new range.

I understand the Gun buster sign is now legal posting but what about a hand written "no guns allowed" sign?

I was recently stopped the first time while carrying. I was on I-40 heading to UT medical center to visit my friend in the hospital. KPD said I changed lanes w/o a turn signal(he was wrong, I did signal) however I was speeding. 65 in a 55. He walked up to my passenger side and told me why I he pulled me over. He then asked to see my ID. I was pretty nervous I'll admit, so I said, "yes sir but before I reach back there......" he stopped me right there and said, "do you have a gun"? I said yes sir I have one on my hip and one in my pocket. He said, "that's no problem just let me see you information and I'll be right back" He also said that a HCP was the best investment anyone could make these days. He came back less than 60 seconds and told me to drive safer and have a nice day. No ticket. He was the most professional officer I have come across and I've been pulled over 11 times now.

these comments aren't necessary and don't help add anything beneficial to the thread. To the OP, what happened was unfortunate however you should have known better than to let your permit expire. I wish you the best of luck.

here is what I use and it works fine. Are there better ones out there? probably, but this one was cheap and good looking. The only downside is that it shows every scratch. They have them in brown and black. Amish Work Belts - Brown

you will probably have better luck on Glocktalk. I've seen several range reports on there from different members. Many reports have been negative and filled with stories of FTF's.

This is an interesting idea. So can you tell us how the LCP did with your test? I don't have one, but I would expect similar results from my p238

A couple of questions for you as I also have a p238. What makes the equinox different other than appearance from the regular model. (that gun is a beauty BTW) Second, are those gold dots in the picture, and have you shot any of those out of it yet? My p238 has been a problem child since day 1. When I first got it it was FTF after every round. I finally determined it was a bad magazine. After that it was flawless through hundreds of rounds until recently it is having FTE's. I think the problem is now the ammo. I recently started shooting S&B and can't get it to run 100%. Strongly considering selling it in favor of a wheel gun for pocket carry.

I've been considering picking one of these up for EDC. I like the WAVE feature and the price isn't too bad either. Anyone have any feedback they can give me? And on another note, I'll be posting my brand new Cold Steel Recon 1 in the classifieds to offset the cost of a new blade. The Recon 1 just isn't for me.

I'm constantly checking different websites for ammo and I've noticed that .380 is not only becoming more abundant but also affordable. Cabelas currently has it on sale for $13.99 per 50 and they are offering $5 shipping through the 20th on orders over $150. That is almost as cheap as 9mm these days. They also have .380 hollow points at decent prices.(if you believe in such a thing) My dad recently picked up a box of .380 at wal-mart!!!!! it was only $19 after tax.
