  1. I'm not sure. Give them a call tomorrow and see. My guess would be yes but I could be wrong. Tri-Cities Gun Depot
  2. Ya I would think a 32 would be just about perfect. If you lived in Knoxville I'd let you try mine out. And yes it is velcro which is great in case your gut size gets bigger or smaller as the years go on

    this!
  4. Enjoy yourself in FL. I lived in Sarasota for about 10 months and really enjoyed it. I still prefer TN, but that might change when I'm retired.......which won't be for a long time!
  5. Don't forget Tri-cities Gun Depot. I hear really good things about them, and they are a sponsor here on TGO
  6. I wear a 29" pants and I ordered a 33" belt and mine is a little big. 32" probably would have been perfect, or do they only sell them in odd numbers??
  7. did you read the sizing instructions first??????? I ordered mine a little big by accident but it still works fine.
  8. I bet your G19 doesn't appreciate that!! To the OP, personally I would stick compact models such as the 19 or 23. I don't think you will see a huge difference in accuracy and they are still big enough to use for nightstand duty. Also, some people even shoot better with the subcompact models. YMMV
  9. exactly what I was thinking
  10. Ya I have the original instructor belt and I love it. I think any model would be great though. However, I did pay the extra $5 and upgrade to the 5 stitch for added support.
  11. hahaha. I have the same problem. I have a 29" waist!!
  12. for what it's worth. I have a crossbreed supertuck and a Kholster and they both do a great job. Unless you just want to spend 2x as much money I would get the Kholster. And here's a code for 10% off 05-4509
  13. This is pretty informative. Glock pistol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia As far as the differences, most of it comes down to preference. I carry a Glock 19 3rd gen and love it. Some guys hate the finger grooves that were added after the 2nd gen but they don't bother me. The gen 4's are very appealing to me because the grip is slightly smaller and the mag release seems to be an improvement. But so far gen 4's have not proved to be as reliable as previous generations. I think you would be happy with any generation you choose.
  14. here you go Let me google that for you
  15. Agree with most of the above. I'm skinny, far more skinny than you are, and I have not problem concealing a Glock 19 or XD subcompact. Move the holster further towards your butt and maybe consider a different holster. It also appears a better belt would help. I use the wilderness belt which is great.
  16. go back and re-read what Fallguy posted. The only place/time it is illegal to have even a sip while carrying is if you are doing it while at a bar/restaurant. If you are at a friends house or something then it's only illegal to be under the influence. Which sounds like it could be a judgement call of the officer.
  17. I have been trying to go there for a day or 2 now and the site has been down. I think they had already discovered the problem when I went there so I should be ok.
  18. this. I remember you guys saying the RIA like to go full-auto sometimes. No way I would carry that.
  19. I say go with the Sp101 and a speed strip or speed loader. When I'm at work I carry the LCR with a speed strip in my weak side pocket. Would I rather be carrying the G19 with 15 rounds? Absolutely, but I feel the LCR will be more than adequate.
  20. Bronker, I expected you to be taller???
  21. Glenn, sorry to hear about your cancer. I can't imagine what radiation must be like. I'll be thinking about you sir!
  22. I'll throw my vote in for CCR. Their greatest hits CD is amazing. Around 18 of the best rock songs ever made.....love me some CCR.
