  1. Made in Japan sadly. Kinda sucks but that's the age we live in. I looked at Kabar for a long time and almost went with that over the CS, but something about this knife just appealed to me. I'm loving it so far.
  2. Wanted a good fixed blade to add to my BOB and this one fit the price range. Seems rock solid! The only complaint I have is that despite the kydex sheath being very nice, it doesn't have any retention. It's held in place by a strap instead. Also, the knife has no jimping on the spine but I can fix that with some skateboard tape. Other than that I really like it! Oh, and its FREAKING SHARP!! Not a bad price either at $69 shipped. Weight: 8.2 oz. Blade Thick: 3/16" Blade Length: 6" Handle: 4 3/4" long Kraton® Steel: Carbon V® Black epoxy coat finish Overall Length: 10 3/4"
  3. sorry to hear this. The job market is rough right now. My biggest concern is that when I graduate from UT this summer I won't find a job!!! But I agree with the previous post, your certifications will be a big help. Good luck
  4. free classes? that's a great deal!!
  5. wait, he got 10 years for having a loaded weapon in his car???
  6. I wear a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB for my Glock 19. It also works for my Glock 26. It's a great holster and is very comfortable for hours on end. Overpriced? YES.
  7. I like the Norris range a lot. I wish it was closer to me though and I wish they would add an additional pistol range but it's still nice.

    GLOCK 19

as both a glock owner and XD owner I like things about both guns. My XD .40 Subcompact has been flawless through probably 800 rounds. I'm curious to know what constitutes being "run hard"'? What exactly does that mean? Are we just talking about a range session where you run hundreds of rounds through the gun. Also, don't you think it's a little hypocritical to say that XD's aren't duty-grade when you have had failures from your S&W's also? Why is it acceptable for them to fail but not the XD's? maybe acceptable isn't the best word but.....makes sense right?****

    Strel?
  11. I know, especially that ass named Jim that works there
  12. those are helpful too. My girlfriend wants me to take her shooting soon(she's never shot a gun). Before I do that, I'm going to spend a few minutes showing her these diagrams so that she understand how a gun actually works. Thanks Glockguy!
  13. I've shot Tula ammo in both 9mm and .40 with no problems. Only 100 rounds or so though. It's cheap but it works.
  14. my post was a joke.......thought it was pretty obvious
  15. I'd be very surprised if they were closed Sunday. You could always go to CCA today.
  16. kappa tappa kegga here...Knoxville chapter formerly alpha slappa thigha before they banned me.
  17. I hated hooters before they posted. This is just another reason for me to go elsewhere. The food is terrible (and yes I'm talking about the wings too). The chicks there are usually decent looking at best.
  18. I'm tired of the crap they send me. What is more annoying is the fact that 3 months after I started my membership they were already trying to get me to renew!! I get a renewal offer every month. Makes me NOT want to renew next year.
  19. sometimes I wonder how certain members have been banned in the past but Strel gets to stick around. I am CONVINCED that he is only allowed to stay because David enjoys a good laugh from him
  20. Probably not. They already have too many models IMO
  21. this^
  22. I hope this isn't a repost. I found this to be very helpful. Genitron.com: Basics-Interactive Illustrated Glock Pistol
  23. wow, and I thought my Glocks were ugly. What caliber is it?
  24. well, we can't really learn from this if you don't tell us what happened. Glad it turned out ok though.
  25. I think we have 2 actually. I've wondered before how he carries. I'm curious now.
