I'm always trying to find new places to hike within a reasonable distance. A friend told me about Savage Gulf and I thought I would check it out. I think I can make the drive from Knoxville in about 2 hours. Can anyone recommend a good trail. We won't be staying the night, just looking for a good day hike. Thanks.

Greg, if you ever find yourself near Knoxville you're welcome to shoot it. Some people complain about the recoil since it's so light but since you already have several snub's I don't imagine you would be recoil sensitive.

They are ugly as sin but I think the design is very interesting. There are a few videos on youtube of guys shooting them. They saw the recoil is very very light. I think it would be fun to shoot.

Only revolver I have is my Ruger LCR that I've grown quite fond of. I know it's ugly but I really really really like it!! And I want a SP101 so bad it's killing me

I have a gen 4 23 that has been giving me issues from day 1. I thought it might be the recoil spring but now I believe I've narrowed it down to a bad magazine.

well you guys are lucky! There have been several threads on Glocktalk about the new finish. One guy posted pictures of his gun with the new finish. He had a few spots of minor holster wear on the gun that rusted. It looked terrible. Anyways, didn't mean to derail the thread. Eric, has your Gen419 given you any problems? I hear they had some spring issues early on. Seem to be corrected now though.
