  1. Some people refuse to change their mind no matter how much evidence you throw their way. It's not even worth arguing about. Recently my professor brought up the fact that they voted against campus carry. He was very happy about it. It was really really hard for me to keep my mouth shut. I was fuming.
  2. those are very very good prices. That M&P is a steal for someone!
  3. When was this? When I was there in July/August of last year I searched everywhere for a gunbuster sign and never saw one.
  4. I don't even want to know how much that cost! That thing looks awesome!!!
  5. Carried there before with no problems. I've been told the Aquarium is posted but the last time I was there I searched high and low and never saw a sign.
  6. Highly doubt those were genuine Glock mags. Probably the Korean ones. I saw 1 vendor what was advertising "Glock 19 magazines" but upon closer inspection they were the crappy KCI mags.
  7. The show was crowded today but there were more vendors than usual it seemed. I saw 2 of the new Ruger LC9's and of course both were way overpriced. Both were more than MSRP. I wasn't overly impressed with the gun but I would like to shoot it. The rest of the prices were pretty high. People selling glock mags for $35
  8. Spyderco makes some great knives for the money. I have a Tenacious and a Delica 4, both are great! I haven't spent much time with the military model but it looks like a solid knife. I'm not sure I'd pay that much for it though.
  9. I like the idea of bore snakes. I'm not prepared at all for a SHTF situation but I really don't think it would matter how prepared I am. I live in the city, if it happens I'm going to be boned no matter what. I highly doubt there is anything I could do.
  10. geeze, does Bill give you a cot to sleep on in the back? I bought a gen 4 G26 from him in January and he had to order it for me. He didn't stock the Gen 4's. Maybe he changed his policy?
  11. did you have him order it for you? He doesn't usually stock Gen 4 glocks.

    Taurus Service

If it makes you feel any better, it's not just Taurus. Member here OhShoot sent his Beretta Neos in for repair a few moths ago for a problem with the trigger(sort of?). IIRC they replaced the entire slide and sent it back. It didn't fix the problem so it's currently at Beretta again. He had to pay shipping the first go-round. Keep us posted on what happens Bkelm
  14. Can you tell me more about this Fulcrum trigger? I've never heard of it. What exactly does it do? Is it lighter, better reset etc etc?

  17. man that's ballsy, I don't think I would want random people coming to my home for background checks.
  18. I have a few NEBO flashlights. Not bad little lights for the money but you definitely get what you pay for. I don't know anything about their weapon lights but if it were me I'd spend a little more and get something nicer. The Streamlight weapon lights are very affordable.

    Ruger LC9

I have yet to get my hands on one. I'll be on the prowl at the gun show this weekend.
  22. D&T handled this issue with class. Would love to do business with you guys someday.
  23. I can tell a difference with my Gen 4 Glocks because they are slightly smaller than the previous generations. So no, I don't think it's a gimmick.

    Kahr CM9

I enjoyed shooting the PM9(Thanks Mac) but the only thing that kept me from buying one was the high price tag and mixed reliability reports (as Mac mentioned^^^) My hunch is this-----Kahr realized that they overpriced the PM9 and would have sold a whole hell of a lot more had they been closer to the $475-500 range, but they can't exactly lower the price of the PM9 because it hurts the image* So instead they just developed a nearly identical gun and positioned it at a lower price point. I imagine the quality is still on par with the rest of their guns. This is just a hunch so take it for what it's worth. *historically most companies always try to avoid lowering prices because it makes consumers question why the company would do so and could hurt the image. Imagine if Rolex watches were suddenly the same price as a Timex.(might be a poor example but you get the point) edit to add- obviously they try to point out the differences between the 2 guns to make us aware that the production costs are less. However I still stick to my hunch that they probably realized they overpriced themselves but just don't want us to know that.
  25. how would one have a "AD" if the gun is holstered? unless it's that goober using a duct tape, even then I'd say it's unlikely something could get in there to pull the trigger.
