I have had my Gen 4 23 for a few months now and honestly I say keep your Gen 3. You won't notice a difference in recoil. The new texture is nice but not amazing. The new finish they use for the slide sucks compared to the older finish. I was a big fan of the new magazine release until I experienced a magazine dump yesterday with my Gen 4 26. Would this have happened with my 23? Who knows, but it sure does make me nervous. The grip is slightly smaller(2mm) I believe but it's not enough to make a huge difference over the gen 3. I've also experienced several malfunctions out of my 23. I'm about 99% sure it's a single bad magazine but it still sucks. Keep your Gen 3 unless you just think you need the "next best thing"

ya but word around the playground is that he bought the mags on Ebay and they were 10 rounders. This is supposedly why ebay no longer allows anyone to sell magazines. And I heard this on the internet so it must be true!!

I agree. And some states actually allow CCW holders to drink while carrying to a certain point. It hasn't seemed to be an issue in those states. I'm happy with the laws we have now though. I don't care to drink while I'm carrying.

I OC occasionally(always when hiking and usually when heading to the range and back) but I can see how it could have repercussions. Some of the guys over on Opencarry.org really concern me. They walk around with voice recorders and video cameras just waiting to see what kind of s*** they can stir up. I don't think OC should be done to make a political statement. I do want to point out that I have had really positive experiences while OCing and that I think it has a lot to do with what state or city you live in.
