  1. I hope the drop all charges against the CCW holder. That was absolutely ridiculous.
  2. never have. Hope I never need to.
  3. I'm taking a job in the southern part of the city and I will be moving in the next few weeks. I'll be in another state but I'll still visit TGO. I feel really blessed to have a job offer just 2 weeks after graduating from UT. My aunt said "why in the world did you pick logistics as your major". Guess I showed her! I don't hear a lot of praise for Orlando but there are definitely worse places to live. I just hope my HCP will transfer without any trouble. Just thought some of you might want to know. Thanks TGO!
  4. Wow Rob! Very nice!
  5. since we're on the topic of new gun stores I should mention that a new store is opening soon in the Maryville/Alcoa area. I believe it's called Stars and Stripes Shooting Sports.

    CZ P07 Duty

Many people will say that CZ's are some of the must underrated guns on the market. I haven't owned one yet but they sure are sweet shooters. I really want the 75 Compact or the Rami. For some reason the P07 doesn't appeal to me but I have no doubt it would be a great gun! You should buy one and then do a range report for us The only downside is that CZ's are sometimes hard to find. Most stores don't stock them and if they do they only have a few models.
  7. Without a doubt the best $20 I've ever spent. Amazon.com: Streamlight 66118 Stylus Pro Black LED Pen Flashlight with Holster: Home Improvement
  8. I read that sign every time I go in. It always puts a nice smile on my face!
  9. haha 2,300 posts of hot air unfortunately! Things are going good, I'm enjoying the time off and interviewing like crazy! Might be moving your way actually.
  10. My Gen 4 26 has been %100. I have probably 500 rounds through it without a single malfunction. Typical Glock reliability. I don't think there have been many problems with the Gen 4 26 because they didn't change the recoil spring. Glock has always used the double recoil spring on the subcompact's. Most of the problems with Gen 4's were with the early 19's and 17's using a new dual recoil spring that was too stiff. That problem has since been taken care of. My Gen 4 23 did have some FTE issues when I first got it and I originally thought it was the recoil spring. I finally narrowed it down to a single bad magazine that I bought at a gun store. It was marked "new" but I have my doubts. After removing that magazine from the lineup the gun as been 100%. Hope that helps.
  11. Mac I just realized the irony in something completely random. Not only do you look like Donald Sutherland but you live off Sutherland Ave. Coincidence? I think not! And FWIW I have enjoyed and least a dozen of your posts
  12. David, I have made numerous friends here on TGO all the way from Knoxville to Memphis. I doubt I would be capable of doing that if I was even 1/3 of the "argumentative/inflammatory" member that Enfield is. This all started because I spoke out against a moderator. I admit that I should have been more diplomatic in my initial comment but my frustration for his constant derogatory posts got the better of me. If we are not allowed to speak out against mods when they rightfully deserve it then who is going to do so? If I would have spoken out against any other member this would be a non-issue, but because he happens to be a moderator it has spiraled into this. Enfield even went so far as to give me a "infraction" for voicing my opinion. You haven't liked me since day 1 and there is nothing I can do about that. Do what you feel is best.
  13. Here you go...http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/59732-what-do-you-do-military-2.html
  14. my post was no more off topic than Enfield's constant snide remarks and "holier than thou" comments. Next time I will keep my opinion to myself David.
  15. The Glock 19 is nearly perfect IMO. It holds 15+1 and is still very easy to conceal. On top of that it is accurate, reliable and durable. I would keep your eye on the classified section because they pop up on TGO pretty frequently.
  16. cool.....do you want a cookie?
  17. I really like watching Hickok on Youtube. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.
  18. Ben, please tell me why you are considering the G.A.P? The ammo is expensive and hard to find. I'd go with a 10mm long before the GAP. The gen 4 Glocks are working fine now but I'm not sure if they are offered yet for the models you asked about. I have a Gen 4 26 and a Gen 4 23. If you are a Glock guy then you really need a G19 in your collection. The 9mm would be more than adequate during the winter IMHO.
  19. When I flew Delta a few weeks ago they didn't charge me to check my bag on the way down to Orlando, but on the way home they DID charge me to check my bag. They refused to give me an explanation as to why it was free on the way down but not the way back.
  20. Whenever I openly carry my Glock 19 or 23 I use a 5.11 Thumb-drive holster. It really seems to be a big improvement over the Serpa and I have been very happy with it.
  21. I just checked and the laws in both states are pretty similar to TN's. Google is your friend. Handgunlaw.us
  22. I have no idea why anyone would tell you to call each state. You can carry in both IN and KY and you shouldn't have any problems. No reason to call anyone.
  23. I flew Delta a few weeks ago and checked me Glock in. No major issues
