  1. I was wondering where I had seen that picture before and now I remember. Very sorry for your loss OP.
  2. .22 will only piss someone off. Or, a bad guy will run away at just the sound of a shotgun being chambered.
  3. Xd's are great guns. congrats!

    Fake or Real?

I thought this thread was going to be about something completely different....
  5. Well I found out that I had some money on m paypal account so I used that as an excuse to order my Sage 3. It should be here in a few days. Willis, you still liking yours?
  6. I'd have no problem buying a Kia, they supposedly make a great vehicle. Hyundai also.
  7. I just recently registered to vote down here in FL and I was planning on selecting "independent" but the clerk told me that if I do that I am not eligible to vote in the primary. So I picked Republican.
  8. Hasn't it been like that for years at UT football games? For as long as I can remember they have searched people entering the stadium. Not saying I agree with it but I'm just curious when this became a "new" policy?
  9. IIRC it depends on when it happened. Can you elaborate please?
  10. damn, sorry to hear this. I enjoyed reading his posts.
  11. looks like he either wasn't wearing a vest or it penetrated it. I hope he makes a full recovery. Tired of seeing stories like this.
  12. same here. Seatbelt saved my life for sure. Pretty stupid not to wear one honestly.

    Gen 4 Glocks

the problems they had with the Gen 4's was due to the recoil spring early on. Glock has since fixed the problems. My Gen 4 26 has been flawless. My Gen 4 23 had some issues when I first got it but I finally narrowed it down to a bad magazine. It's been fine since then.
  14. well, worst case scenario is that if you wanted to visit Maine you could always open carry. OpenCarry.org - A Right Unexercised is a Right Lost! pretty sure you don't need a permit.
  15. link works fine for me and I don't even have a Facebook....?
  16. glad to hear this. I would still run a LOT of rounds through it just to be safe.
  17. Regal cinemas is not legal posting IMO and why support them? Wynnsong is not posted and never crowded. Scariest place I used to go was UTK. Now I'd say any airport.
  18. Thanks Mac, I meant to post this but forgot. I probably should have waited a while to get my permit but at least now I'm not driving around illegally.
  19. Man, I'm not sure how I missed this thread but I'd love to try the ZT. Put me in line please! Thanks Steve!
  20. I'm pretty sure that once you move to another state you TN permit is immediately void. However, they have no way of knowing whether you are they for vacation or living there. I don't think TN actually knows about it until you get a new DL. S.C has fairly friendly gun laws except no open carry and you can't carry in nearly as many states as you can with a TN permit. I'm pretty sure that you can have a loaded gun in your car without a permit though. So that's a plus. The process for getting a permit looks pretty easy. Looks like SC is a "must notify" state. http://handgunlaw.us/states/southcarolina.pdf
  21. personally I would choose the 23. I have a Gen 4 23 that I'm happy with.

    Quality of the Judge

I've seen at least 2 stories where someone defended themselves with a Judge and were very successful. That said, it definitely wouldn't be my first choice either.
  23. if you call up Streamlight they will fix it for you. They are known to have great customer service. It's worth doing IMO.
