  1. I'd go with the CT laser grips personally. They have a good reputation.
  2. I've had the same thing happen with my Glock 26. It's happened twice but I was able to modify the holster so that it doesn't happen again. I don't consider it as embarrassing as it is frightening. What if you had to defend yourself? Not very easy with only 1 round.
  3. I think it's about time you post a group photo of all your knives Steve! Every time I log on you are ordering a new one. I thought OhShoot had the disease bad! You might have it worse than he does
  4. I was going to make fun of the 1911 malfunctioning but since the Glock did also....I've got nothing. If you just installed the slide stop lever you probably did it incorrectly. The same thing happened to me. I thought I installed it correctly but I did not. Take the slide stop lever out and put it back in. I found a youtube video on it and IIRC the angle has to be just right.
  5. OhShoot says they have the best price on Mine 14's. Wouldn't mind picking one up.
  6. just out of curiosity, is this a common problem with 870's? I rarely shoot my 870 so I'm not overly concerned but I didn't know if this was something I should look out for.
  7. Has anyone else noticed the irony in the title of this thread?
  8. Welcome!
  9. Wal-Mart is now selling Federal 9mm in 100 count "value packs" for only $19.99. As long as they continue to stock Federal at the price they will have my business. It's worth the crappy service IMO.
  10. VERY nice sir! CZ's are fantastic firearms.
  11. my bad, I thought I posted it. OC may have prevented a crime/LEO encounter.
  12. this thread has developed into something special.... I'm touched that you guys either saved a picture of me or went through the trouble to find them on the forum!
  13. you must not have read the other thread very closely....
  14. ya know, I will say that your posts do seem far fetched but if they are true then more power to ya! I admire your sense of humor though!
  15. LMAO...aren't you just the starter!
  16. In light of recent posts here on TGO by members who claim that open carry could never ever be a deterrent I thought I would share this with you. and my favorite response
  17. Just some friendly advice, be sure to actually run some of the defensive ammo through your gun before carrying it. You want to make sure the hollow points feed properly. eta: could you have possibly posted a worse picture? post up some better ones so we can see that beauty!

    Colt Mustang

definitely a keeper in my opinion. Those are cool guns and will only go up in value.
  19. It is my understanding that if it expires you have to go through the entire process again. ETA: actually it looks like you have 6 months to renew. You better get on it now though! http://www.tn.gov/safety/handgun/renewals.shtml
  20. Ya, I missed your first post. I thought it had already passed. Depressing state they live in.
  21. yes that 'was' correct. It's my understanding that they recently just lost that right. Unfortunate for them.
  22. strickj, I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought the same thing.
  23. It was that way until about a year ago. Now it's perfectly legal as long as the business isn't properly posted. You can't consume while carrying though.
