  1. I love my LCR but I'm failing to see just how practical this will be.
  2. B, you should have got in on the ZT pass-around we did. One hell of a knife.
  3. any chance that stuff is safe for pets? We're having a ant problem down here but I don't want to poison my dog in the process of killing ants.
  4. Dang Neil. That things is beautiful. I almost bought one a few months ago but I really can't see myself having one as a daily driver down here in this terrible traffic.
  5. I've done it a few times. Pretty neat to see where these bills go.
  6. Happy to hear that the rent-a-cops are gone. Glad to hear you guys had a good time.
  7. Another vote for the awesome midway bag. If you do some searching via google you can usually find a code for $10 off a purchase greater than $50 on Midway. As far as electronic hearing goes. I have these, Amazon.com: Howard Leight R-01526 Impact Sport Electronic Earmuff: Home Improvement They work pretty great outdoors, indoors they can be a little loud sometimes. I would buy them again though.
  8. I would love a Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp edition. I've been eyeing one on gun broker.
  9. I will sometimes use Lucas or Seafoam in my gas tank but I often wonder if they really do anything to help. My Acura mechanic told me to NEVER use the stuff because he has seen it actually cause problems. Seafoam is overpriced anyways.
  10. says the guy who drinks cheap beer and doesn't believe in buying nice flashlights....
  11. Maui Jims. Love them but would never pay this much for sunglasses, they were a gift. I would like to get a pair of costas since the lenses are bigger and provide more coverage.
  12. I pocket carry my LCR. The key is finding jeans with pockets that are big enough. That being said, there are times when I wish I had a ankle holster.
  13. B, while I tend to agree with you I do have to wonder why Paul continues to be near the top of all the straw polls. Interesting times we are in.
  14. I would vote for Dr. Paul or Newt. But I'm also to the point where I feel it needs to be anyone but the big O.
  15. I like eggnogg. I have never even heard of boiled custard.
  16. I agree. My Ruger LCR already has enough recoil, the last thing I want to do is carry +P rounds that kick like a mule. I carry standard pressure critical defense.
  17. There is a guy on Glocktalk that goes by TacticalKydex IIRC. He makes custom holsters and magazine pouches for very reasonable prices and his turn around time is very fast. I bought 2 mag holders for my Glock for $20 shipped and they arrived in just a few days. I think the Comp-tac are a slightly better design though. Easier to take on and off.
  18. You sure are trusting of Kahr considering you just got your other Kahr back from getting repaired. Only to have it returned in worse shape than before.

    Glock Gen 4

I never suggested they should remain stagnant. I'm all for improving things that need it. I think the new grip, texture and mag release were all the result of pressure put on Glock from the consumer for a more ergonomic handgun. (which is a good thing). All I'm saying is that the dual recoil spring did more harm than good. They should have left that part alone.

    Glock Gen 4

True, but there was no need to mess with the recoil spring and it caused a lot of problems with many Gen 4's. There is zero benefit to having a dual spring IMHO. Design changes should only be done if there is a good need or reason for doing so.

    Glock Gen 4

I have a Gen 4 23. I had a lot of issues with it when I first bought it and I was afraid I got one of the Gen 4 lemons. I finally narrowed the problem down to a single magazine that was causing all my problems. Since removing that mag from the lineup it has been flawless. In my opinion Glock should have left the recoil spring alone. I like the changes to the mag release and the grip but the recoil spring should have been left alone. I also have a gen 4 26 that has had 1 stovepipe out of ~600-700 rounds.
  22. also, you can order directly from CZcustom at a pretty fair price. CZ P01 9mm
  23. I'm fairly certain that D&T Arms carries CZ's. You should check with them. The P01 is a difficult gun to find, I've been trying to find one myself. Good luck.
  24. I purchased a CZ40P(they don't make this model any longer) at the gun show on Sunday. At the range I had a failure to feed after nearly every round. Needless to say I'm less than thrilled with its performance. I love the gun and it is extremely accurate but I am hoping I can get it running correctly.
