I'm not sure if you all remember the original story but I was really expecting a guilty verdict on this one. I think the lesson to be learned here is: 1) life is too short to honk at people. 2) if someone confronts you, drive away if at all possible. 3) If number 2 doesn't work please refer back to rule 1.

You are one of the lucky ones then. My gen 4 is one of the earlier ones before they changed the finish AGAIN 5-6 months ago. Apparently the newest version is a little better.

I've owned 2 Gen 4 Glocks. I still have my Gen 4 23. I had some issues with it early on but I eventually narrowed it down to a bad magazine. I've not had any problems with it since then. I'd say go for it! My only complaint is that the new finish Glock is using on the slides SUCKS. It has been documented in length on Glock Talk and my finish has worn off after being holstered a handful of times.

I swear we are our own worst enemy. There is no reason to fire Dooley. We couldn't get anyone better.

Having shot Mac's Sport, I really like the set up. I'm going with a cheap(relatively) red dot though.

Let's not let our hatred for Obama cloud our judgement. Mike, I sincerely hope you are right about Romney but I think the republicans could have picked a far better candidate. If they had chosen a more moderate nominee they could have crushed Obama by gaining all the independent votes.

I'd rather have an honest Mormon in office than a douche that lies about being a Christian..... The fact that Mitt is a Mormon bothers me a lot less the other stuff.

I've already said I'm voting for Romney. I'm just not convinced he truly knows how to fix the problems. Does it really matter at this point though? We spend all our energy fighting with the liberals nothing ever gets done. This country is split down the middle and neither one is prepared to give an inch. Since you guys claim Mitt has a plan can you please share it with me? I'm being dead serious. I've been trying to educate myself on the issues and all I've seen so far is finger pointing from both sides. If I've missed something please send me a few links.

I'm convinced that no matter who was elected as the republican candidate you guys would swear up and down they are the savior for this country. A few months ago the attitude on this forum was that we all hated Romney, but not as much as Obama. Now you guys are actually buying into it. Let's continue to vote the party lines, it seems to work out so well. I should also point out that ole George was the one who set this massive debt in motion. It really got going under his watch. I have yet to hear what Romney's big plan is to fix the economy. All he seems to do is remind everyone how bad things are and how it's all Obama's fault. Romney and Obama have a lot in common, neither one has a effing clue how to fix our problems. Now Romney has come out saying he actually likes part of the health care law. I think Romney would earn more votes if he actually laid out a plan for us instead of blaming Obama for all our problems. Let's be honest, Obama is a jackass but he can't blamed for all our issues.

It's really not that bad at all. I have not shot anything through my AR other than TulAmmo so I don't know how it compares. For the price though, it can't be beat. It's been stated that Wolf and TulAmmo are made in the same factory. I can't confirm this is true. I have no problem with either. This guys claims they are not made by the same company but does not state his source. Either way, for target ammo it works just fine. A case of brass.223 is $100 more than the TulAmmo. I cannot justify that price.

Ammo. I have enough guns but one can never have too much ammo. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Probably not the smartest idea legal or not. Maybe in a rural area but I wouldn't do it while cruising through the city. But as stated above, it's only legal if you have a valid TN HCP and you don't have a round in the chamber.

No it doesn't matter, I was just trying to remember how close it was in 2008 compared to now. The polls are very very close right now with Obama showing a slight edge. Mike said this is a completely different election which I would agree but I was just curious how the polls looked at this same time in 08.

I wish I could find a thread from 2008 to see what the general consensus was. I can't remember exactly, but didn't Obama win by a large number?

That is a great light. I have the LD20 which runs on 2 AA batteries. I also have the PD31 which uses 2 CR123's. It's the best light I own.
