I had to use google maps to find that area. Lived in East TN most of my life and never heard of those towns.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm too young to remember(but I've seen the old videos), but doesn't anyone remember when candidates actually respected each other? I don't expect them to like each other, but their lack of respect really gets old. The constant interruptions and insults from both sides is embarrassing.

I was sitting here thinking about how I've driven through or visited the majority of East TN and it got me thinking about how small and rural some of the towns are. The top 3 that came to mind are Pall Mall, Sunbright, and the tiny historic town of Rugby which is really neat to pass through. People may call them "podunk" but I'd love to live in a small town again. What towns come to mind for you all?

How am I spewing opinions? You are defending Romney's signing of the AWB. If Obama had a signature under his belt you guys would be tearing him apart on it even if he promised to not sign another one. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

So let me get this straight. If Obama gets together next year with a group of pro gun and anti-gun folks and they reinstate an AWB you will defend his actions? The kool-aid must be good. Again, I'm willing to move past Romney signing the ban, I'm just stating he should have been a man and admitted he made a mistake instead of trying to claim this is something pro-gun people wanted.

I thought it was hilarious that Romney tried to downplay signing the AWB, claiming that pro-gun people got together with anti's and "this is what they wanted". Why not just admit he made a mistake and reassure us it won't happen again? That would have earned my respect. He should have also pointed out what Obama said about the violence in Chicago. Here is a prime example of a city with the strictest gun control plagued by violence. He passed up a great opportunity there. Oh well, I guess it's better to have someone in office that MIGHT sign another AWB instead of someone who undoubtedly WILL sign an AWB.

When I think of Romney, "support for the middle class" doesn't come to mind. I just don't see it.

I'm a small guy so there is no way I could fit this gun in my pockets but I held one today and really liked it. Springfield did a nice job on this one. I also held the ever elusive Ruger 1911. It was on sale for $650! My GF ended up picking out a Sig p238 for herself so we left with that. It was a good day!
