What makes you guys think I wasn't prepared? I have plenty of ammo for my needs and bought my AR back in June so I'm doing just fine. I'm not holding a grudge against Magic at all. I've met him, I have no doubt he's a stand up guy. I'm just saying he didn't help the situation. I  think gun prices will probably return to normal but I doubt ammo prices will do the same.   And Mike, there have been manufacturers that have raised prices. I don't know exact numbers but I know prices have gone up. Chance confirmed this on the other forum.

  What makes you think prices will go down to where they were before? Like it or not, Magic was part of the problem. I'm not scolding anyone, just calling it like I see it.

I'll stick with my Glock 23 and shotgun as a backup to that.I cannot imagine how loud 5.56 would be inside my house.

  Good for you, but I'd rather not be part of the problem. It's because of everyone that though like you that we may never see prices return to pre-Sandy Hook levels.   I can almost promise that ammo prices will not go back down to the level they were before the shooting because of the price gouging and hysteria fed by people such as yourself.   No offense to you Magic but you didn't help the situation.

How were the gun prices? Any hanguns in stock? Its only 45 minutes from me so I may visit this weekend.

  Florida and North Carolina went blue in 2008 and Florida again last year.  Does anyone know if they were ever blue in the past?

Lights Out was good but a little far fetched IMO. I enjoyed it though. I recently loaned it to a coworker.

Check Lenoir City, it's only 15-20 minutes from West Knoxville. I would probably avoid North Knoxville but that's just me.

Were the conditions that dry? We were just in TN two weeks ago and it snowed. One would think the ground wasn't that dry.

I bought a CZ because everyone on the internet convinced me CZ's are the most underrated guns on the market.....Big mistake. It looked pretty and felt amazing in my hand but none of that matters if the gun can't go through a 10 round mag without jamming. This was the 40P.   Maybe someday I'll try the legendary CZ75.   I have heard nothing bad good things about the PPQ though.

"Going Home" is a good book. I read it on the survivalist forum before it was published.    Also try the "Holding their Own" series on Amazon.

Another odd law is that liquor stores can only sell liquor. They can't sell anything non alcoholic such as limes or other drink condiments.    At the liquor stores here in Florida they sell cigars, limes, sour mix etc. It's really convenient if I'm in a hurry.

The junk mail is small price to pay for keeping my 2nd amendment rights.
