  1. You're making the assumption that these things are not already happening today.that somehow this ruling changes anything. If little boys want to be gay together I'm pretty sure the opportunity already exists. This fear that gay children are going to violate other children reminds me of the liberals who thought concealed carry would lead to a wild west scenario.
  2.   Well, you proved the point that was made by several here. If someone wants to join scouts with intent to do harm to kids nothing is going to stop them. As pointed out earlier there is no correlation between homosexuality and child molestation.    Kinda like that whole gun control debate we always have...
  3. Not a chance in hell I would have allowed them to keep the Gen 2. The older Glocks were built when quality control was top notch. Once they replace the parts it's essentially a brand new gun.   Last year I scored a gen 2 19 made in 1988. I shipped it off to Glock and asked them to replace the internals and refinish the slide. It returned a month later with new parts but the slide  looked the same, if not worse than when I shipped it off. I asked them refund the money I paid to have the slide refinished and they did so without question.   I've also stopped in Smyrna while passing through and had my Gen 3 19 looked over. They replaced several parts and gave me several new magazines as well.   There is no question to me that their customer service is the best in the industry.
  4.   Sounds about right...
  5. In stock for $12.30 https://www.primaryarms.com/Magpul_PMAG_30_AR_M4_Gen_M2_MOE_Black_FREE_SHIPP_p/mag571-blk.htm   Or if you prefer the window,   https://www.primaryarms.com/Magpul_PMAG_30_AR_M4_Window_GEN_M2_MOE_Black_FRE_p/mag570-blk.htm
  6. I see the price on the Colt 6920 went up almost $300. It's no longer in the "budget AR" category.
  7. I like me some Spyderdo blades. That paramilitary is sick. Pretty sure Mac has the same one or the bigger one. It's only of the only folders that actually made me nervous when holding it. Wicked sharp blade.
  8. Taurus 24/7 Pro. I sold it to a member here on TGO.
  9. Jesus Elliot, debbie downer much?   I understand your argument but when I look at the entire process IL went through I'd say them getting the ability to carry concealed is a win. The court could have just as easily ruled the other direction which would have ended it all together or as Dave said forced them to the Supreme Court. I realize constitutional carry is far superior but this is still a huge improvement for the people there.
  10. This means we have to pick on CA and NY now.
  11. Ya, he's suing because he claims the fight never happened. At least that's my understanding.
  12.   Completely agree but you have to admit it's pretty rare.
  13. It is now being reported on another forum that out of state visitors may carry while in their vehicles. So for anyone wishing to pass through the state you can keep a loaded gun in your vehicle.    I have not confirmed this yet but it's apparently part of the bill.
  14. I agree, I'm sure he will appreciate our emails.   Did you noticed the bill was sponsored by two Democrats? I had to read it twice.
  15. One thing I'm unsure of is whether or not open carry will be allowed. My gut says no.   Still, this is an amazing step for the people in IL who fought for this.

A gun store I follow on Facebook has them listed at $550. www.Kylesgunshop.com   Seems like a great carry gun for the summer.
  17. I'm shocked. It passed with a big enough majority that the Governor can't veto it. The qualifications are rough but it's still an amazing step in the right direction.     http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/05/31/senate-passes-illinois-concealed-carry-bill/   http://www.cinewsnow.com/news/local/Illinois-Senate-passes-concealed-carry-bill-209710411.html
  18. I've seen several places stocking them for $12 the past week or two. I stopped in my local gun store today during lunch and they said inventory has improved dramatically the past 2 weeks on ammo and accessories.
  19. I remember .380 going for $50 a box a few years ago when supply tightened up. This time .22LR was the most difficult to find.
  20.   Didn't the whole "Hitler gun control analogy" prove to be false? I'm not questioning the power if this woman's words but we need to make sure we're using facts in our arguments unlike the anti's who only use emotion.
  21. Mike, I think you may have a problem. I've never seen anyone build a collection this fast.       Send me your credit card for a few weeks for safe keeping.
  22. This may help,   http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1402990
  23. Do a little digging on Glocktalk. I know several members there have fixed the brass to the face issue themselves without having to ship it to Glock.   I think the fix involves replacing the ejector with an older version but I'm not positive.   My gen 4 23 slings brass to the right with force.
  24. While I'm not defending Gen 4 Glocks I wouldn't stoop to the level of the M&P which is just Smith's copy of the Glock with a terrible trigger.
  25. I did a search and didn't find this. Definitely worth watching.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=03XEUPfD0qM
