GT's is a great store. I've only been in a few times but it's definitely one of my favorite gun stores.

Not enough traction for my tastes but it certainly looks good. A guy on another forum stippled his to add traction and it turned out really nice.

On Sale Now: 40 Round PMAGs
Erik88 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Interesting. I may pick a few up for the heck of it. I'd rather find some 20 rounders first though. -
Perhaps you could help by responding to our questions instead of ignoring us. Several of us have asked you to back up your comments because they don't appear to be factual but you choose to ignore us. When you continue to ignore the facts that Andrew presents it makes me question whether or not you want to engage in a healthy debate or push your own agenda.
-
Link, it's certainly fine to have a different opinion. I have no problem with that. It's the irrational posts and blatant distortion of the facts that gets old. I've said this before, if evidence comes out during the trial that proves Zman is guilty then I won't lose any sleep. But I'm convinced that a few people here wouldn't be convinced of his innocence no matter what evidence may come out in court. It's honestly quite baffling why some of our more rational members are being so irrational during this discussion. While your posts are very rational, others seem to be letting their emotions get the better of them instead of explaining their opinion rationally with facts.

You nailed it. That was my justification for placing another order of Pmags. They will never be lower than $10.50. I should be set now.
-
No camo for me but I do have FDE furniture.

Here you go. $10.50 in stock, http://www.classiccityfirearms.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=12&cc=1 And in stock here, https://www.primaryarms.com/Magazines_and_Accessories_s/201.htm And C products work great also, http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=MCPAR30ATBSS&name=C+Products+AR15%2fM16+30rd+.223%2f5.56+Stainless+Steel+AT+Mag&groupid=578

My GF's Sig p238 is actually fun to shoot where as the LCP is not. But they do serve a purpose and I can see why they are so popular.
-
I'm pretty sure they were priced at $299 not long ago. Least fun gun I've ever shot.

Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I personally don't care at all how much money you give to the TM fund. You seem to have some kind of emotional attachment to the case where as I do not. I have no desire to give ZMAN money. I think most of us are just saying the evidence suggests he may be innocent and we won't fall for the racial BS that was initially presented. Since you seem to ignore the questions I've asked you I'm assuming you either refuse to acknowledge the facts or don't believe them. I've you've looked at everything and still feel ZMan is guilty then good for you for sticking to your opinion but it doesn't appear to me that you are keeping an open mind. I think we're all in agreement that there is evidence we don't know about. If Zman is guilty I'm sure the evidence will prove it. -
Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
How much evidence do you need Dave? Look at his face and head. How many blows should he have received before waiting to react? I think we all agree ZMan didn't have the authority to follow him but there is zero evidence that we know of that suggests this happened. Even if he did follow him that doesn't make it ok for Martin to physically attack Zman. -
I like CZ's but that thing is hideous.

What is the most you will pay for ammo?
Erik88 replied to crossfire's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
If prices don't go back down I'll be finding a new hobby and keeping what I have on hand for when TSHTF. $25/100 is probably my limit for 9mm unless I'm only shooting a few times a year. -
Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yup. This entire ordeal reminds me of the gun control debate. There is a small crowd that continues to react based on emotion. They had their mind made up from day one and refuse to consider any alternative. Meanwhile the rest of us keep looking at the facts before passing judgement. As you mentioned before, I am sure there is evidence on both side that we don't know about it. If Z man is found guilty I won't shed a tear, but based on what we know right now I doubt that will happen. -
That was pretty good. I've seen the same movie scene used for similar videos but I still don't know what move this is.

The book was interesting but it was hard for me to stay interested. Not much action. The movie look decent but I'll wait for it at Redbox.

Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
So by your own words he's guilty until proven innocent. You've already made your mind up despite the fact that you nor I know what really happened that night. You're posts are becoming irrational and childish. -
Troubling news for the Trayvon Martin camp
Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That is an equally disturbing story Dave but it got plenty of attention when it happened as it should have. I'm tying to point out the double standard we have in this country which apparently I can't do without being called a racist. Oh, and no one called you a racist. Naive, yes. Racist, no. -

Erik88 replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You may be the most naive person I've ever seen. How can you claim it's not about race when Jesse Jackson and every other civil rights activist in the country raised pure hell until Z man was arrested? This is ABSOLUTELY about race. Did you hear anything about the story below when it happened just after Martin was killed? Hell no you didn't because the MSM hardly mentioned it. Why? I think we know exactly why. When a couple thugs drug a white guy out of his truck and bludgeoned him with a hammer it doesn't fit the agenda the media is trying to push. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed? The media and Jesse Jackson would have exploited this to the fullest. http://www.wftv.com/news/news/deputies-men-beat-another-man-hammer-sanford/nMHW6/ https://www.google.com/#output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=man+beaten+with+hammer+in+sanford&oq=man+beaten+with+hammer+in+sanford&gs_l=hp.3..0i22i30l4.1025.6130.1.6278.33.29.0.3.3.0.379.4310.9j15j3j2.29.0...0.0.0..1c.1.17.hp.C7S-eCWz4uM&psj=1&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.47810305,d.eWU&fp=a673a573320f32e2&biw=1092&bih=514 -
You guys don't think 11mpg is bad? :squint: Man, I'd hate to see what you DO think is bad. My experience with the MPG estimates is that very few people actually get what is on the sticker. If it says 11-16 my guess is that most people get closer to 11 in the city.

My GF and I spent 3 nights there back in March. We had a fantastic time. I can't recall any problems with carrying, but much any decent sized city you can go from a really nice part of town to the ghetto really fast. We stayed in a small house for the 3 nights and it was in a horrible part of town. My GF actually requested my Ruger LCR beside her at night. Be aware of your surroundings and have a good time. Check out B. Matthews for breakfast and Moon River Brewery for dinner and fantastic craft beer.

Go back and read my post again. I said "one of". H&K's are fantastic firearms but they don't even control a fraction of the market compared to Glock. Now, that's mostly because most people don't want to spend $1000 on a handgun. I'd love to acquire a P30 someday but I have many others on the list ahead of it.

Wife accepts gift of Sig P238 after a long search for pistol!
Erik88 replied to QuietDan's topic in General Chat
Good for her. My GF loves her p238 SAS which she calls "Sassy".
