No. Just my camper shell which probably helps a little. The guy I was pulling had pallets in his bed but it didn't do him a lot of good. Pretty sure his tires were bald.

Show her this. My wife took this video of me pulling a guy up our hill in my 2002 Tundra. This was the 2nd 2WD truck I had to help. Good tires are important too. I never even spun a tire while doing this.

My issue is that after Texas had their grid failure TVA swore we could handle a sustained period of negative temperatures before we would have issues. So either they exaggerated or something changed. It's a little concerning we had issues with a few days around 10 degrees. It was only a mild inconvenience losing power for 15 minutes so I'm thankful it wasn't worse.

The roads in Knoxville are a mess. My neighborhood had at least 10 abandoned vehicles. I had to push a guy in a 2WD pickup earlier. I'll never own a 2WD truck. I went for a quick ride on the Sting earlier.

I just took our husky for a 5 minute walk. That was all I could handle. The wind chill is intense. I need a ski mask to be comfortable but scare all the neighbors.

What does everyone have their thermostat set to? I turned ours down to 63 last night. We'll see if I can stand it that cold today.

Gas finally dropped to $2.99 by my house. I still cannot make sense of what's happening with the huge prices differences across the state. Dad told me gas is down to $2.50 in Crossville. The only explanation I can think of is that gas stations have figured out they can charge more and we will pay it. I've never seen .50 differences in prices for an extended period of time like this.

I'm too young to get the reference but that's a sweet ride. Teenage Erik would have spent time in that backseat with my H.S girlfriend.
