Yeah I'm immediately skeptical when I see something like this given the amount of misinformation on the internet these days. We have no way to easily validate this either.

If they don't have probable cause to arrest someone, what exactly are they supposed to do? I feel like people always look for someone to blame, and lately it's the FBI. Sounds like that should be directed towards the father.

I don't have strong opinions about them. If they are as bad as your friend claims, they have hid it pretty well. This is their first major screw up in how many decades? No offense to you, but who knows if your friends opinion is worth anything. A lot of people that run in that circle are highly competitive alpha male types that all think they are the best operators. Just stop. Allow yourself to admit there are some seriously unstable people on both sides of this horrible political system we have created. Look at the madness that occurred January 6th. We are heading down a dangerous path where people have gotten way too invested in their party. Today's events are terrible. The only person that benefits from it is Trump. I can only imagine what kind of crazy conspiracy theories come next.
