How can they prohibit carry on a public street? I'm not aware of any law that allows them to do that.

It would really be best if you went down to your local gun store to see what feels good in your hand. Don't let them pressure you into getting something that isn't right for you(not all stores do this, but I've seen it happen with new shooters)   That being said, I currently have 2 Glock 19's and carry one daily. They are fantastic carry guns. I previously owned two Glock 26's and sold them both, the reduction in size isn't worth the horrible grip on the subcompact Glocks.

The shelves are still bare in Florida. I've been lucky lately and scored a few boxes of .40 and last night I got there before the .380 was gone but I haven't seen 9mm in months.   I'm over this shit, one would think that the manufactures would have staffed up and caught up with demand. I guess raw materials are in short order?

The movies was NOTHING like the book. I told my GF after the show that other than the title, nothing was the same. Apparently I'm not alone in this thought.   The movie was decent but I was disappointed with how quickly it ended.

  Oh this I believe. My buddy's family has a diesel VW bug that gets around the same MPG. It's the slowest vehicle I've ever been in but great on gas mileage.

  And have you?   I have plenty of friends who own diesel trucks, I've heard of 21-22mpg, not 27. 

  Yes, I'm well aware of that however 27MPG is not realistic IMO.         You didn't answer my question, are you doing the math? The computer on my car always says I'm getting much higher that I actually am.   According to this website the average MPG for the F-250 is 15.5. http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-250%20super%20duty   I'll stop hijacking the thread now. GZ's neighbor was just interviewed by Fox. He claimed 5 of the women are ready to acquit him of the charges but one is holding out and wants to know more about manslaughter. I have no idea how he knows this information.

Out of everything we've talked about and learned during this thread, the only thing I know for sure is that DaveS lost all credibility with his incoherent arguments and complete disregard of the facts.      He reminds me of Strel(if anyone remembers him), except he can articulate his thoughts at least a little better that Strel did.

He actually had 2 flashlights, I believe both faild on him.   The key here is getting a GOOD light, not some POS from the dollar tree, and keeping fresh batteries.   Either way, it's impossible to know if it would have made a difference.
