  1.   Good call. (need to read artilce before commenting)
  2. Cool story. Don't they typically travel in packs? My guess is that if there is one, there are others.
  3. Gander, Bass Pro and Dicks are all the same. Absolutely terrible prices and usually piss poor service.   One thing will never change though, uninformed buyers will always shop there. That is how they sell guns.
  4.   I have no doubts that FL will go left again I'm not holding my nose and voting for another Romney.
  5.   Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing today. I'm positive there will be people here trying to convince me to vote for whatever D bag wins the primary.
  6.  Man, where have you been?   Welcome back!
  7.   $150*500 members=$75,000. If you include the $50 fee it's $100,000.   I'd say he's doing just fine. Once he pays off the initial building cost he's going to be making a pretty good profit I imagine. Good for him, seems like a smart business plan.   I wonder how much his insurance is?
  8.   Elliot is correct. Don't enter the bar portion of the restaurant and you're fine.\   Also-no open carry and the "no guns allowed" signs don't mean squat. You can legally carry past them but If they find out and ask you to leave then you must go.
  9. sorry man. My dad had his truck keyed while working in downtown Knoxville. It sucks.   Even when repainted it didn't look the same.
  10.   It's actually Going Home and yes it's a good book. The action takes place just an hour North of my house.   Holding Their Own is a great series too.       ETA--I stand corrected, it appears he did a another one. I read this before it was published as he did a chapter at a time on Survivalistboards.com
  11.   He apologizes for that during the video.
  12. Pluto was still a planet when I was a kid.
  13. I read on another forum that the family stated they didn't believe race played a factor in this crime. I find that hard to believe.    I can't even imagine the uproar this would have caused if the roles were revered and 5 white men tortured, raped, and killed a black couple. We would still be hearing about it.
  14.     Hey now! How did you know I bought a Bersa?
  15.   You sure can be a smartass sometimes Mike. :shake:  Do you even own a streamlight or are you just assuming the Surfire is better because it costs more?   Cost does not always equal quality.
  16.   And the Streamlight was $75.
  17.   If you thought we would stay on topic you clearly don't know us that well.   How about you John? Whatchaya got?
  18.   I have no idea as I have no experience with Surefire. I've never been able to justify spending 3x more for a light than every other competitor. Much like HK.   I CAN tell you that the TLR-3 is built like a tank and lights up my entire house. Is the Surefire better? Possibly. Is it $300 better? I highly doubt it.
  19. I have a Streamlight TLR-3. I'm very happy with it.
  20. The band Shinedown is also from east TN. They went to South Doyle High School.
  21.   Which respecatable manufacturers are cheaper than Glock? They may not be the best but their price is hard to beat, especially for LEO's.
  22. Does anyone remember Brad Renfro from The Client?   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Renfro
  23.   I believe DaveS wore one during the Justice For Trayvon march down here.   Glad I missed it...
  24.   Talk about a knee-jerk reaction. Do you have examples Dave? I'm not saying it's never happened but it's certainly not the norm. This is one of those myths that's been regurgitated so many times people accept it as reality.     Here is an example of open carry possibly preventing a crime.   http://forum.pafoa.org/open-carry-144/147404-oc-may-have-prevented-crime-leo-encounter.html
