  1. I saw a picture of him in his hospital bed and that was bad enough.
  2. Drunks are cool though right?
  3. They are also known to sell cookies outside marijuana dispensaries.
  4. I renewed my carry permit online on 1/16 and it arrived yesterday. 8 days. Impressive.
  5. I know of a few in Minnesota that kneeled on a guys neck until he died. I agree with the gist of your response though. I'm not sure what the solution is here. I wouldn't run from police but I also don't expect them to beat someone to death if they do run. I'm wondering what the videos will show.
  6. The sad thing is that this will cause even more people to run from police. Why pull over if there is a chance you could get beat to death.
  7. Bump! I'll throw in a dozen eggs for the right trade deal.
  8. 7-10 years ago they could get away with that to. It's almost impossible to believe they would do this on body cam knowing the repercussions. If true, they need to be charged.
  9. What exactly do they think happened? It said cause of death unknown.
  10. I have two 15 round magazines I'll throw in. 4 magazines total.
  11. How much of a pain is the Form 1? I've never looked into it.
  12. I know someone who works as an assistant director. He was telling me that there is really no need to use real guns anymore. They can add in muzzle flashes if needed.
  13. Bump
  14. Because a firearm was used the penalty becomes a mandatory 5 years in prison under NM law. I have a hard time believing he'll be convicted though.
  15. Baldwin was also one of the producers for this show. There is a process they are supposed to follow where the actor confirms the gun is cold. That process was not followed. I agree with you that it does seem odd no one else is being charged.
  16. He won't even admit to pulling the trigger which we all know is BS.
  17. Knox News published a very detailed article today explaining what went wrong with TVA during the cold snap. The article is for members only but I'll include the link anyways. It was a combination of problems that caused this but here is what stands out. -Beginning on the 23rd, TVA underestimated the amount of electricity it needed to generate by 655 megawatt hours. This mistake continued the next few days. -One of the two units at the Cumberland Fossil Plant goes offline at 0300. "Critical instrumentation" at the top of the boiler froze over. -By 0455, the 2nd unit goes down, essentially shutting that plant down. -While this is happening, the Bull Run Fossil Plant is unable to come online. It's old and often unreliable according to TVA. Scheduled to retire December of this year. -By 0600 TVA is struggling to get the John Sevier Gas Plant to run properly. This is one of their bigger plants. -By 0900 the sun is up and TVA's solar plants come online but they aren't able to generate a lot of electricity. -By 1030 TVA requests rolling blackouts for the first time ever. Throughout the course of this, the coal and gas plants struggled while the nuclear plants never had any hiccups. TLDR- we need more nuclear plants! https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/local/tennessee/2023/01/19/tva-blackouts-winter-storm-cold-aging-power-plants/69777671007/
  18. Complete waste of time by Gaetz. Not surprised either. I wish the GOP would work on a practical solution for this issue.
  19. Sold!
  20. No they had the HVAC trunk running the length of the house resting on the joists. Below is a view the opposite direction. I could strap it at the place where I cut the hole but I can't strap it where the 2x4's are unless I cut more ceiling out. I'm probably worrying about it more than necessary. It sounds like most of you don't think it's a major issue having it rest on those 2x4's.
  21. Something like this would look a lot better than the HVAC grill. A friend suggested this company. https://linhdor.com/product/linhdor-elite-1000-interior/
  22. I replaced the two bricks with two pieces of 2x4. Do you think that will suffice? My concern with the HVAC duct is that that its weight was previously distributed along the entire length of the ceiling and now it's resting on this one place. I need 4" of clearing for my dryer duct so I'm really not sure what else I could do.
  23. West Knoxville HF didn't have this one in stock so I had to pay a little more for one. I know people like to pick on Harbor Freight but for certain parts they do just fine. I got the hole opened up a hair and got the flex tube fed through. I'm leaning towards installing an access door here similar to Farman instead of replacing with finished sheetrock.
  24. Purple or not, that knife is sexy.
  25. I just need to shave off a little more so I can feed the flex duct up without tearing it. It's pretty close already.
