I remember when TGO was super pissed at Lee for his COVID protocols in 2020 and swore to not vote for him again. Of course no one was going to vote for his democratic challenger either. Here we are. This is why I will continue to advocate for more than two crappy choices. I'm so extremely sick of our broken two party system. If you all can't see that both parties are doing damage, I'm not sure what it would take to convince you. Sorry for the rant.

How do you punish a mass shooter who gets killed by police or dies by suicide?

From what Mac is saying, it sounds like they would not even allow the minority party to call on people to speak. I'm not condoning screaming into a bullhorn but it doesn't seem like discussion was allowed. If they can't debate on the floor, what are they even there for?

This is disappointing since I have two Olights. I saw they recalled my Warrior but when I tried, it was going to be a pain. I can't remember the exact details but I ended up just keeping my light. I didn't realize the issue was so wide spread. I love the magnetic tails for working under my truck. These Cloud Defensive lights look nice but I'm not paying $250 for a handheld light. There has to be another option I can afford that won't burn down my house.

I had a friend explain it once. He loves spicy stuff. For some people, they get a little head buzz from it. I guess all the endorphins or something. It's misery for us normal people and enjoyment for them. The rest are just trying to act tough I suppose.

I haven't seen the actual "insurrection" but I was told she played a smaller part. Instead of using the bullhorn she stood off to the side. If that's not right, let me know. To your point, it doesn't matter if it's true or not as the optics alone are terrible. During his speech, one of the expelled members said that a Republican urinated in the seat of another lawmaker and wasn't punished. I would love to know that story.

Is anyone with a basement monitoring their radon gas levels? #2 cause of lung cancer in the US. I did one of those free tests and it came back at 2.7 which isn't ideal.

Would that not be considered an off duty gig where the Arena is paying for extra security? I know it's common for business to pay an off duty cop to be present. I imagine that for large sporting events they may have an agreement worked out with the city. Or they may figure that with the amount of tax revenue being generated at the Arena, it easily justifies the cost of having law enforcement there. I'm not sure that is a fair comparison to a small private school that isn't required to pay taxes. Doesn't matter what I think though. Bill Lee seems to be moving forward with the plan.

My niece went to a private school in Florida that had their own armed security. They were not law enforcement. This school in Nashville could have paid for security but chose not to. I love the idea of private schools having armed security. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a private entity to pay for their own security.

My property taxes pay for more than just schools right? Roads, street lights, parks. I have no plans to have children and I've never felt I'm getting screwed because of that. Private schools are a for profit business as far as I know. Thinking that tax payers should fund their security needs doesn't make any sense to me. When movie theaters decide to have security they pay an off duty cop to be there. I'm not sure why a private school should be any different

Did you see it was reported that some of the staff may have been armed?
