Neil, I have it on my back deck and I'm pretty happy with it. It came with the house though so I'm not sure what it cost. I will say the only downside is that stains are hard to get out of it. I did pressure wash it even though I don't think you're supposed to. I just put on the lowest PSI nozzle I had and went to town on it. It came out looking a little better but still stained from dirt and leaves sitting on it.   Overall I'm glad we have it. I'm hoping it lasts longer than we plan on being in this house.

I'm very sorry to hear this and I'll be praying for your wife. My dad had a massive heart attack in January and is doing ok now but I know how scary and stressful it can be. Hang in there.

  I agree with this. I have nothing against the VP9. In fact, it feels great in the hand. I just don't have a desire to get one because it's the same size as my Gen 4 17 and costs more money plus it has 2 fewer rounds. Then gen4 17 feels fits my hand quite nicely.

It's interesting that you mention the p238 because just today I was cleaning my wife's and found some concerning wear on the barrel. I would expect the finish to come off but the barrel actually has some metal that is missing due to wear. I'm wondering if the recoil spring is worn out and not doing a good enough job of slowing down the slide. It probably has 1000-1300 rounds down the pipe.   I'm a bit concerned honestly.

For the life of me I can't understand why people buy Kel Tech handguns. One of the least enjoyable guns I've ever shot was the PF9. Hell, you can just look at it and see how cheap they are. For just a little more money one can find better options.

Tough call. There are very few places that I visit that I'm not allowed to carry at. I do wish the no gun signs didn't have the weight of law.   Personally, I'd rather have TN laws than VT laws. Yes constitutional carry is nice but they don't even offer permits there which means carrying while traveling outside the state is a challenge.
