I don't want to hijack the thread but I'm really curious about this. Do you think it's ok to apply this over a little rust? I have a 870 police magnum with a pretty rough finish. I was going to send it off for cerakote but this looks like a cheaper alternative.

I'm curious what encounters you have experienced in your life that has made you feel this way. From the age of 16 until 20 I was pulled over 13 times. I would say only one stop was somewhat questionable but even then the cop was fair. In fact, only once did I encounter a cop that was a prick. I think the vast majority of cops are good people that are doing a very difficult job. As someone else said, we need to appreciate the good ones and hold the bad ones accountable. Blaming all "rank and file officers on the street" doesn't seem like the solution to me.

See I've never had a single problem with Prvi. I've shot it in multiple calibers including 9mm, .380 and .45ACP. I always thought UMC was the bottom of the barrel but maybe I'm wrong? I did have some issues with Perfecta ammo though my MPX while we were at your family's place a few weeks ago.

Same here. The magazine prices are ridiculous. What I don't like is that a $1,500 gun comes in a cardboard box with one magazine... Luckily I bought mine used and it came with 7 magazines. If you look on Gunbroker there are some deals on mags that are slightly cheaper but still overpriced. I'm really hoping Magpul comes out with an alternative.
