  1. You got so worked up you went from one then "too" then "two" . I'm usually the guy that has to correct multiple spelling errors. I will not allow you to remove me from that thrown...err I mean throne
  2. TN suddenly has an influx of first time hockey fans..

From handgunlaw.us I actually just saw this the other day. Maybe they are mistaken? http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/tennessee.pdf

    FL to TN

Welcome to TN, we're glad to have you! I also moved from FL to TN. You will have 6 months from the time you establish residency until you need to have a TN permit. The good news is that you can use your FL permit while you wait for your TN permit. The bad news is that any class you took in FL is essentially worthless. You will have to go through the entire process here in TN but it's really not that bad. If you need some suggestions on where to take the class near Rutledge then I'm sure someone can help you out. Also, it is legal to have a loaded firearm in your vehicle even without a permit. I think it just can't be on your person. I just noticed you live in Ellenton. My brother is right by you in Parrish and my mom and step dad are getting ready to move down there to be near them. Small world. I like FL but when you're 22nd in land mass and 3rd in population it is starting to become too crowded.
  5. I don't mean any disrespect but I don't understand the complaint that the new site format is hard to navigate. The "new content" button is basically the same as it has always been. I think you can even change the color scheme if that bothers you. Internet forums have to periodically update software. That is inevitable.

It's amazing that even after all this time I still got goosebumps just thinking about that day. You guys will laugh but I was in the 7th grade at North Middle School in Lenoir City. Another teacher came into our room and whispered something in Mr. Thompson's ear. I don't think I'll ever forget the look on his face. We spent the rest of the day watching the events unfold. I can remember teachers crying and many of the kids left early after their parents came to get them. Apparently mine were not concerned with me I also remember my dad having to explain to me what the WTC was. I was mature enough at the time to understand it was very bad, but I had to fill in a lot of the blanks when I got older.
  7. I loved the Parks and Rec shout out. Great video. Whatever happened with FPS Russia? It seems like after his business partner was murdered he went dark. I don't think they ever solved that crime.
  8. I don't want to poo poo someone's choice of gun but I've watched 2 videos where someone used a Judge for personal defense and the results were less than adequate. I did see one video where a guy killed an intruder with his Judge but it was a point blank shot. They were wrestling with each other at the front door. I would just avoid using those shot gun style rounds and go for solid lead. Sorry to get off topic but just wanted to throw that out there.
  9. Ya I should have mention my 21 is a 4th gen. That makes a huge difference with the grip. Big improvement over the gen3 unless you go with the SF.
  10. This place is going to be awfully quiet without politics.
  11. I have no experience with the 41 but I have shot a few GSSF matches with my 21 and done pretty well.
  12. I was having the same issue the past few days. So far it's working fine today.
  13. That would be Special Snowflake to you sir...
  14. This post offends me..
  15. Searching Google for "WASP crazy"...
  16. You both make good points. I guess I'm just tired of hearing a lot of noise and little action. I won't pretend I have all the solutions though.
  17. That is true for most. I use a comp tac paddle holster 90% of the time but the OP felt his current paddle holster sticks out too far.
  18. What about a leather pancake style holster? They are typically really comfortable and keep the weapon closer to the body than a paddle holster will. Something like this but not cross draw.
  19. After thinking about it I came to the same conclusion. I ignore a large amount of topics on here that don't interest me. Somehow, life has continued for me.
  20. Oh it's hideous no doubt. As is yours
  21. One of the vendors here recently reported having them in stock. Trying to remember which one.
  22. I agree it was getting out of hand and I realize I wasn't exactly staying clear of those debates. I can't help but wonder if it was really the divisiveness that was turning people off or the fact that they don't like message. I had a member send me a nasty-gram via text message simply because of my avatar. I don't recall anyone getting offended during the 8 years we all lambasted Obama. Anyways, it's probably for the best. I've lost enough friends. Are we allowed to discuss the recent terrorist attack assuming it doesn't get off subject?
  23. Ask her how many pairs of shoes she has.. I'll be happy when I reach 3 AR's. I plan to get 1 more while they are so cheap.
  24. I think the ammo shortage definitely played a part but I think overall interest is down. The classified are a good indicator of just how low demand is right now. It's a great time to buy, horrible time to sell.
