This is basically a scaled down version of the gun they designed for the military RFP so I don't think they made this in response to the CZ. Losing the contract and deciding they still wanted to make some money off the gun is more likely.

Steel sights do not come standard. Most new Glocks ship with the plastic sights.

What would they have had to do in order to impress you? They took a platform that everyone else has tried to copy and has worked for 30 years and improved the ergonomics. Customers hated the finish and finger grooves so it appears they finally listened.

I would contact them. To me, that's not acceptable. Especially for what I assume you paid.

The lack of finger grooves alone is a huge improvement. I heard the finish is supposed to be "better" which would be a good thing. The new flat finish they put on the Gen 4's is horrible.

When I saw this headline earlier today my first thought was "there is no way they can legally do that".

I'm assuming you laid out of work? The cut off for totality was right around Pellissippi Parkway. The pictures and video don't do it justice. I hope to catch the next one in 2024!

Well said. When I paid off my student loans I thought "I'll take this $400/month and do something smart with it." I have no idea where that money went.

Not trying to get personal about your finances but you should consider throwing some of that towards retirement. The stock market is going HAM right now. I've got an IRA from my last job that I haven't put a penny into this year but it has still grown by several thousand. My wife's 401k has a double digit rate of return right now as well.

I know many may think this sounds like a conspiracy theory but I firmly believe the RFP was rigged. Someone got a big kickback. Even leading up to the testing many people pointed out that the only weapon that met the criteria the Army was looking for was the p320. It was extremely specific. On top of that my brother was stationed in Africa during 2015 and his unit was given the chance to buy a custom p320 with their specific insignia on it(it looked awesome BTW). That might be a coincidence but even he was told back in 2015 that the Army was selecting that for their next gun.

Let me tell you more about this former Lenoir City officer. He's the same one who jumped in the bed of a truck as it was driving off and then killed the driver. A few months later he tasered an unarmed black youth that was playing outside his home. He was subsequently fired. My friend worked with him at the time and said he had some anger issues.

David is right. This isn't a hoax. One cop already got shot in the leg after dropping his p320 while it was in its holster, trigger covered.

Looks good to me David. Earlier it was rough but looks fine now.

Someone brought up a very good point on another forum. Sig came out with a fix for this issue within days of it becoming public. Something tells me they have known about this issue for a lot longer than a few days.
