That's not always an option though. Every single movie theater (that I'm aware of) in Knoxville is posted. As of 1/1 it appears most of the theaters won't have legal postings. I rarely go anymore but occasionally a movie comes out which is better in theater. ETA-just noticed this was already covered on the first page. My bad.

I wonder how much of that he will remember when he wakes up. He's going to be sore as hell(assuming he didn't actually break any bones). Since this has gone viral I'm sure he will recognize himself soon enough.

I'm so happy for you guys. Congratulations!

Stunning weapon. Way out of my price range though. -
I just read some information on Reddit from someone who lives in the town. They claim the shooter's dad died the day before the shooting. He was being bullied for crying after he posed on SnapChat about his dad's death. Again, I'm not justifying what he did and who knows if these were even the same kids that bullied him. What a sad situation all around. Kids are brutal.

I'm all for standing up to bullies. It worked for decades. I'm just pointing out that thanks to zero tolerance policies you are just as likely to end up in a world of trouble as the bully. My friend was a SRO at a local elementary school and told me about taking kids that young to jail for fighting. It's ridiculous.

I thought I made it pretty clear I wasn't justifying his actions. What I'm saying is that if you have a group of people constantly picking on the fat kid year after year don't be surprised if he comes in with dad's Glock. Parents, teachers and the administration all have a responsibility to end bullying. I watched the same kids get picked on all through high school by the same group of assholes. It had nothing to do with kids being "too soft". The real cowards are the ones that felt the need to pick on those that they knew would not stand up to them. There is nothing courageous about that. You're confusing too very different issues here. Also, keep in mind that in 2018 standing up to bullies means you will be in just as much trouble as the bully. Issues can't be resolved with a fist fight after school. Now you have kids getting arrested for fighting accompanied by a permanent record and legal fees. Times have changed. I have read accounts of someone getting sucker punched and then once they fight back they are both arrested. That is the world we live in now.

I'm not defending what the kid did but if he was in fact picked on, the bullies share some of the blame. As do the parents if they did nothing to stop it. There is no place for it in 2018 as we have seen time and time again what happens.

It's not just young people. The fact that TGO has had to scrap certain areas of the forum is a good indicator that everyone is a bit too sensitive these days. I see a lot of people acting as though only the "snowflakes" have cornered the market on hurt feelings. That's just not true.

We got a whopping 3/4" here in Loudon County. Ironically, the roads had more snow than the yards. I can't imagine what my next utility bill is going to be. It's going to hurt!

You should be able to spend $30 and get a flashlight that will last for a long, long time. You'll be more likely to lose it than break it. I like Fenix, Olight and Streamlite. Try Going Gear.com for great deals on affordable products. They are family owned and sometimes cheaper than Amazon. I'll link a few you might like. 600 lumens for $40 http://goinggear.com/flashlights/olight-s1a-baton-600-lumen-1-x-aa-cree-xm-l2-led-flashlight.html?___SID=U This JetBeam light would fit in a pocket. I have one of their lights at home. http://goinggear.com/flashlights/jetbeam-jet-uv-3535-uv-365nm-led-flashlight.html?___SID=U Another option, http://goinggear.com/fenix-e05-2014-edition-1-x-aaa-cree-xp-e2-85-lumen-led-flashlight.html?___SID=U And lastly, http://goinggear.com/flashlights/jetbeam-jet-ii-mk-1-x-16340-510-lumens-cree-xp-l-hi-led-flashlight.html?___SID=U There are dozens of options that will fit in a pocket. Hope this helps.

His 43rd birthday would have been Saturday. Gone far, far too early.

In my last job they used Fidelity for our 401K's. I called them to roll that over to Edward Jones and the person with Fidelity was helpful and competent. I would have no issues using them if I decided to invest on my own. I like my Edward Jones adviser but I've also considered managing it myself. Let us know how it works out.

A link or picture would help. I know what you're talking about but I suspect others may not have seen it. And as soon as I saw the picture I thought the same thing. How will they not get slapped with a lawsuit over this?

Doug, let us know if there is anything we can do for you. I pray the surgery goes well.

He was at a gun show. I could absolutely imagine someone breaking in just to look for weapons. This is actually somewhat common at gun shows. It happened several times when I was living in Orlando.
-
Why would they do that? They know that their base will continue to support them simply because of the "R" next to their name. There is a reason we have the same people in Congress for multiple decades.

It takes them an entire week to fix your truck? My guys typically don't stay stranded more than a few hours. I hope you make it home soon!
-
That's what I thought but it seemed like overkill. That's going to be one heck of a sign. I can't think of many posted places I've seen over the years that meet the requirements.
-
No but I've been down it a few times...
-
Forgive me but is that saying you must have A and B in order to be a legal posting or just one of the 2 options?

I'm not wishing for the man to die but I suspect that once Gaston passes away we might actually some neat products come out.

Where is "here"? I'll pass on that.

I wish I had known. I assume the money goes to the state park? I hope so.
