I bought mine for $399 at Academy the day after Christmas but now when they have them they are $429.

Ask the seller the "prefix" because you are curious how old it is. They won't suspect anything. If it matches it may be worth making a meet to see the rest. An important note. Supposedly agencies must update NCIC files to keep it listed. Call the agency you filed with to check on your case yearly.

Sell it, as long as all legal aspects are met. Glocks are starting to come back around on the shelves.

I have some nickel cases that have probably been reloaded 20 times. I don't even bother to sort them different anymore, I mix the two.

I have purposely stayed with the basics and I'll tell you that the above numbers are right on. With 9mm there isn't much cost savings but it is fun and I can do custom loads. if I lost all my equipment tomorrow to do straight wall pistols I could spend as little as $225 for equipment and start over(plus powder, primers, and bullets). I'm in Chattanooga and will be more than happy to walk you through your first ones or you can come watch me. I do 9mm to.

Pretty much what I have always thought as well. The shift work can be a little difficult but sometimes it's also one of the better parts of the job. The job can be a relationship killer for many reasons. The job can be hard on your body, especially your back and kneck, but that is pretty much true for any job where sitting or driving occurs so frequently. Contrary to popular belief, most cops don't get fat from eating too much it is the high calorie drinks. A lot of cops love to stop at every convenient store and run in, say hi and get a free fountain drink. Most places, looks like Smyrna, pay pretty well with decent benefits. If you have a two or four year degree you could maybe make more doing something else, but the average young man or woman with HS Diploma and less than 1 yr of college may make more than their peers by being LE. Getting in is so competitive now, I mean it is tuff. If you don't certify yourself it can be hard to get a job. A college degree of any kind can hurt and help, so dont worry about that. ANY arrest or serious traffic violation completely eliminates any interest in you. Most places are so politically driven you may get told you were the best candidate they interviewed but someone lives closer and they went with them. All in all it is fun, but not for everyone. Expect every decision you make to be criticized by the public, they have no clue what your job is and what you may actually be working on at any given time. As far as physical conditioning most all LE conditioning test are what you should be able to do just to be healthy. Run 1.5 mile in 11min or less, 35 pushups, and 35 situps middle aged males should be able to do anyway.

As far as I know only a Ithica 37 will slam fire like that. It is pretty awesome.

I figured since it doesn't have sights that was all it was really intended to do.

Obviously fake, not enough debris trash and not loud enough.

Very interesting, thanks for the tip.

More expensive/ less common magazines and holsters greatly reduce any cost savings.

Woman's bottled water leads to jail and 6 felony charges

Well these were not TN ABC Agents, but the TN ABC Agents I have met, and a lot of them at that, have all been top notch professional. -

Apology is definetly in order. However, for a color of law violation the officers would have to have fabricated the incident or such. This appears to have been a lawful detention or every reason to believe that it was. Should a repremandation or a termination occur? Maybe, but it will never happen. A civil lawsuit is very likely though. -

Yes, terrible tactics but still underage alcohol consumption is a crime. Unfortunately things got out of hand, hopefully the DA sees this and stops it immediately. This store probably sent her out in brown bags just to see of she would be approached. I have seen it before. Very attractive, young looking girl, carrying the signature brown bag normally used only for alcohol. -
A 86 4wd was my first vehicle.

It is Quick Cash and it only takes a 5minute drive and a 5 min TCIS check before you carry the gun home. The $25 transfer covers the $10 Check, and you make up for the rest of the $15 by cheaper GA taxes.

I have mixed opinions on winches, Between them not working and breaking. Not to mention needing it on the rare. It it is mounted on the front. When you need one they are priceless. I have seen people go to pull the line out to find the winch has stopped working in the last year since they last tested it. They call the manufacturer to hear it isn't rainproof and should not have been left on the vehicle or it should have been covered. Seriously, people get told this all the time. Most of the people that have a winch use them for stuff they could just use the vehicles on power for then drive around with an extra 100lbs of winch and gear for another year. Obviously hardcore offroaders need and use a winch. I have been out and needed one but found a offroaders come along and/or hi lift jack did the trick. Otherwise I had another vehicle with or without a winch to recover me. If I ever do another one it will be a hitch mounted setup.

It could have mismatched serial numbers and 10rd magazines for any number of reasons. I worked with an officer still using 10rd magazines in his G22 so they are out there. Glock most likely replaced the slide and barrel under warranty.

I should have. I looked at one that looked brand new.

I don't know of anyone who has bought one or had the chance to buy one. I know the one at GT's was a sample months ago.

Truthfully more the weight, feel and thickness of a heavy loaded Glock 29.
-
I know GT Distributors in Chattanooga has a display model. I haven't asked to hold it though, I have no interest in it. Too fat for an effective subcompact IMHO. Also pricy, I don't mind paying a lot for an effective service duty weapon though.

Front and rear factory hooks are adequate for most applications. I have seen some failure from the factory ones, mostly seperating the frame but the hooks are plenty strong. I have never seen an issue from the older factory center hook or hitch. Newer ones have hooks on the outside where the frame rail attaches to the rear crossmember. Also, no issue with mounting a winch on top of the original front bumper.
