  1. I haven't shopped for bikes in several years, they used to be my life though. Back pains keep me from riding now. 1st I am a huge Trek fan, but components not the name on the bike make the bike. If your looking for cheap and value Raleigh and Monobecane normally appeal but they will still be at the top of your budget, these two normally come with bettered components. I can't even recommend the best shop around Chattanooga or Cleveland. East Ridge Bicycles (closed Saturdays)for a long time has been top notch and great to deal with. I have had mediocre experiences at Scott's Bike shop. I haven't been in River City or Suck Creek Cycles since I was a kid.
  2. Maybe someone should tell them without stand your ground Martin, not Zimmerman, would have been commiting a crime by confronting the person following him. However, I am not saying Zimmerman was committing a crime.
  3. If I had a 6' turd it would look like President Dumbama.
  4. A lot of confusion develops when you try to value one life before another, woman, child, officer, or whomever. As a LEO I can tell you that most LEO's will risk if not give their life to save another, no matter who's life it is. Chances are this LEO had reason to believe this person was a huge threat to himself and others. What I can tell you is that any criminal considering killing a police officer will kill anyone for any reason.
  5. It is fake, don't worry.
  6. Dress like a thug, act like a thug, be a thug and expect to get viewed as a thug.
  7. Unfortunately I have had to do a lot of high risk traffic stops (formerly felony traffic stops) alone. A lot of times you find the suspect while all the other officers are busy processing and securing the crime scene this guy just created.
  8. I highly recommend saving the emails from your transactions, write down the persons license plate, and possibly even record the conversation with you phone or other device. Send the recording to your own email and let it sit. All of this will help ease your concerns along with a BOS. In my experience the cheaper the gun the more flaky the potential buyers.

    Census Takers

In 2013? I have never heard of a census taker being out in a year that didn't end in a "0".
  10. Ol Smokey and Rocky Top don't do a lot to clear that image either.
  11. If you want to come down to Hamilton Place area one day you can try my Lee single stage press. Right now I only reload 40 10mm and 9mm. I have been very happy with my lee anniversary kit. I would buy one all over again.
  12. "What ifs" will drive you insane. Who's to say that Zimmerman would even be alive today if he had a working flashlight. He may have been hitting Martin with it and Martin may have grabbed Zimmermans gun.
  13. To to Randy's in Trenton, Ga. I know they deliver to Cleveland so they may do Athens. When they deliver to TN it is tax free.
  14. I find some short sub compacts harder to carry than compacts IWB. For example my Glock 26, which is my favorite carry gun, doesn't have as much barrel length to stabilize it IWB like my G23 does. A G36 would be a great IWB gun.
  15. I have ran acros a few pot smokers that got violent, kind of the cornored cat syndrome.
  16. I once owned a CW45, it was a good shooter. They are somewhat ammo finicky but a lot of 45's are. It was one of the hardest recoiling handguns I had ever shot, it is about equivalent to shooting a 357 mag lightweight revolver. I have shit a friends XDS and I would love to have one even though it doesn't shoot POA. It just shoots low wit everyone but who cares. I have never owned nor even shot a Bersa by they do make pretty good guns. Very importantly, how do you plan to carry?
  17. I have never really kept up with all the different models but there have been a lot of Mini's coming through GT Dist in the last couple of months. Most were priced around $500-550. $550 for ones with scope mounts. Most are stainless w/wood, a few factory folders. There was one that was more but I was told it was the model accepting AR mags.
  18. Wow, I would love to find one for under $400.
  19. They really are sweet pistols. I had a 40 for a short while. I didn't find it that much easier to carry over a baby Glock, but they shoot every bit as well or better. Other than a few cosmetic flaws coming out of the factory they are really reliable and shoot better than most full size handguns. There are a few writeups and videos out there to show one how to disable the safety now if that bothers you.
  20. It's odd that anyone stock CB ST's, they are the only ones I know of period.
  21. Nashville Gun Shop says they have them for $415.
  22. Maybe he has watched Hickok45's G 27 video where he says he carries 8+1 in his.
  23. Ironically common isn't it?
