  1. Analog_Kidd, I am only going off of what others have told me but they say it is much easier to evict and sue if you have a lease than if you don't. I used to be a cop in a town with lots of rental properties, even though there wasn't much I could ever do to help anyone I often got called and explained all the difficulties wih tennants. I heard more than once that if the lease had no expired they would have been gone yesterday.
  2. I don't know what date they report but I am not suprised the date is off by three years. Let's get something else out there, domestic violence is one of the only crimes the courts can prosecute without a testifying witness Meaning the police had reason enough to believe your sister initially to arrest you then continue prosecution without a witness. I see it all the time, it sucks. Probably what happened was the preliminary hearing in sessions was thrown out but the evidence was taken before a grand jury in which you were indicted. Now, since it says you plead guilty but didn't you need to go to the courts and explain. It's most likely just a mistake that it says you plead. That makes no sense. You paid a bond to get out of jail before your preliminary hearing. You most likely didn't get jail time on top of the initial 12hr+ cooling period before seeing a judge. Now the probation, you must have plead or have been convicted to have been placed on unsupervised or supervised probation.
  3. I have learned from my parents mistakes, good guys get taken to the cleaners with rental property. If you can't kick someone out who is a week late on rent you will loose your ass, just to give you an example. You will hear every type of experience imaginable. Some folks do ok, some pay their lawyers more than they would have ever hoped to have made. Like someone else said, renters have all the rights, don't think that all it takes is 30 days to evict someone. If they try to sue you they can be there a long time, and they don't have to pay while doing so. I am not saying it is completely bad, it's just not a sit back and collect money adventure like most believe. If there was a for sure way to retire at 55 I and everyone else would be doing it. Commercial renal property seems to be where it is at, I don't know this for sure but some of the richest people I have known had commercial rental property.
  4. Was the conviction inTennessee? It's a mistake that you were able to purchase handguns. Were you possibly charged with a domestic assault but convicted of simple assault?
  5. Seriously, if you ever get a fair amount of 10mm I'd give you something for it.
  6. My IPhone 4 went for a swim in an OuterBox Defender, spent about 3 seconds under. Two years later it still works, no doubt the best phone I have ever had.
  7. I have seen it for $14.99, American Eagle I believe, at GT' s recently.
  8. No, the receiver is the true serial number.
  9. Classic M&P, great gun but there are a lot like it. If it is mint but no box it's worth about $450ish, even though it's not for sale.
  10. There are a lot of complaints online about the TCP not locking back all the time. To me it is a moot complaint, since the competition doesn't ever lock back.
  11. Maybe, I'll actually be able to ask one today.
  12. I call dibs on any unwanted 10mm brass. I might be able to barter...
  13. You may never believe this but the Glock Sport Combat holster(with the friction retention nub removed is the best pocket holster I have ever used.
  14. I am going to go against the others advise. If it is mechanically solid Iwould take it over a lot of new handguns. It is still a prelock, non MIM, classic Smith.
  15. I fixed it for you.
  16. If it does not have the safety notches between the cylinders you should send it off to get them.
  17. After passing on that American Derringer I have thought about it ever since. I stumbled across a well used American Derringer m-7 at a fair price the other day. The M-7 is an all aluminum model weighing 7.5oz, this one was in 380. I almost passed because it wasn't a larger caliber. I am glad I got it and the .380 doesn't bother me, it recoils a lot. I would say it recoils considerably more than my NAA mag and is still a hair bigger but still smaller than my LCP.
  18. Yeah, not too much talk of gun ownership on the Prius forums.
  19. I actually think $150 is a steal, and the laser is about worthless.
  20. The 3.6L feels like a little rocket to me.
  21. I have had several over the years, I drove one in high school so they hold a place in my heart. There are two of them I would do just about anything to have back, a 06 4.0 with a April build date(one of the very last TJ's) and a 94 on 1ton axles and 38's.
  22. Updated! Glock 31's at Pikeville PD and Glock 21 at Bledsoe County Sheriffs office.
  23. I have lived a similar experience, I came home on leave in 05 for my grandfather's funeral. My granny handed me an unopened package of white Stafford T's he had bought the day before. I have been sleeping in them since then. It sucks man, I think of him several times a day and you will do the same.
  24. You probably see more Bates' than anything being worn by seasoned officers. To be honest it may depend on the model more than the manufacturer. I do not have foot troubles but some of the most comfortable boots I have worn are some $25 Academy brand, immitation leather zip side boots and add an extra pair of insoles. They don't last very long, about 25% less time than some others but that is probably part of the reason they are so comfortable.
  25. If you find a place to give you more than 25 cents a piece for them you have done better than me.
