  1. mhl6493, I looked at yours when I was up there the week before you bought it. The lock bothers me more than most people, but it is only because of what it stands for. Once she told me it was new I passed hoping that I could get her to get me one in the future if I really "needed one". I ended up paying "new" price for a barely used no lock model, but I was happy to see one.
  2. I have seen an American Derringer in what I think was a 10" barrel .410/45Colt which may suit your needs better. I like the AD better because the safety automatically disengages when the hammer is pulled back to fire.
  3. I found one the other day and couldn't live without it. They are not coming around like they used to.
  4. If you are going to be ridig a bike an ankle holster may actually make sense. Most guys on bikes wear it one there strong side outside leg as opposed to inside weak side leg.
  5. Yeah, those crossbreed clips are easily spotted.
  6. Assuming >90%, 2 mags, tupperware with papers I would assume he has $425 gun like previously stated.
  7. A SA Blackhawk was not my idea of a SHTT revolver, only because it is too slow to reload. I was thinking a Gp100, Sp101, or a LCRK.
  8. I was following the talk a little back in March but people said they would probably not buy one for $100 more than a Shield. Did I mention how much I love my Shields?
  9. While I am a S&W finatic I would probably do it to a Ruger of some flavor. http://www.pinnacle-guns.com/revolver.asp
  10. Here is something else to consider; Supposedly you can take a 357 magnum revolver and have it rechambered in 9mm and still fire .38spl or 357 magnum. They do say that it will fireform the cases. Really only a critical factor if you wanted to reload those cases.

    KAHR 45

I never could get mine to like semi wad cutter ammo. I'll let you in on a secret, and that is that almost every holster for a Glock 9mm/40/357 will work fantastic for a Cw 45.
  12. Plus P 45acp in a Glock 21 is nothing to worry with. You still will not hardly feel the recoil nor experience any excessive wear.
  13. You better buy a Shield for $329, new or used!

    Glock Issue

No, that sounds like the right RSA. Glock does not recommend oil on it. Honestly, it proabbly is not seating correctly.
  15. It is hard to beat that versatility! I have been eyeing the S&W Governor for awhile, to shoot .410, 45Lc, 45ACP, and GAP.
  16. You would probably be more likely to need .38/357 but find 9mm ammo. I can't think of a single .355 bullet that wouldn't work in a .38. As far as the powder you are not going to know what kind it was anyway if it is store bought, just reduce it a small amount. Even if you didn't it most likely wouldn't be catastrophic.
  17. Probably closer to be true though, there are a lot of powders that work for all three. With small primers they are all about the same. The bullet diameters are close and a few of the shapes and weights are more universal than others.
  18. I have debated 357/38 vs others for SHTF for years. Honestly I think a 40 with a 9mm conversion barrel is a lot better SHTF BOB. What really interest me about a 357/38 is that I don't need magazines and handloads are easier made.
  19. I haven't tried AG yet but I hated my crossbreed, the leather may have well been plywood. My Kholster was so much better.
  20. I do agree with this, I used to get all caught up on kinetic energy before I started comparing the percentages of one shot stops and how they coincide with momentum and not kinetic energy. http://www.stoppingpower.net/ Also, use these tables. http://www.handloads.com/misc/stoppingpower.asp?Caliber=0
  21. Exactly! And to the OP, I have never heard of a diversion being classified as any kind of plea or conviction. Regardless this should be a misdemeanor anyway, even if you plead guilty I don't think it would have excluded you from a HCP.

    Sig P226 in .40

    His is a good deal!

    Sig P226 in .40

What kind of shape, extras, and at what price?

    Sig P226 in .40

They are fine specimens, all calibers of them are fine shooters. The only thing I will add is that Sig magazines, especially in .40 are not too easy to acquire. If it is not your "go to gun" it probably would never matter.
  25. Thanks everyone, I know that he would have appreciated the thanks. I also would like to send a Happy Birthday out to him today!
