    Glock 34

Once I discovered the $12 Glock Sport Combat holster I rarely resorted to anything else.
  2. Use his tag to get it home and then give it back to him. He can take his tag to a satellite office, along with his new tag for a refund, and transfer the old tag to the new vehicle. I am assuming this is a specialty tag or vanity plate.
  3. The chance of you needing a firearm is rare. The chances of you needing more than 7 rounds are even more rare. With that said, I would make sure that I get a carry gun that you will carry. Personally, I find that I like my M&P Shield a lot; more than any Glock. I did the XD thing one time and even tried it again with a XDS. I am Glock or M&P Shield all the way.

    Glock 34

They do and have recently transitioned to the gen 4. There are some other departments in KY using the G35 also. I used to work around a lot of Alabama State Troopers that had Glock 35s also, but most had G22s. I have seen a few Bradley County Sheriffs Deputies with Glock 35s. I did know of one deput in Rhea County with a Glock 35. I am sure there are some with Glock 34s, but I don't know of any.

I actually think my Shield has a better trigger than my Glocks, but M&P's are known for inconsistent triggers one gun to the next.
  6. Actually, they are allowed to do audits at anytime. Also, when a multiple gun transaction occurs within 5 days the ATF gets a multiple gun transaction form sent to them that does have the serial numbers.

Supposedly the grip is about a 1/8" shorter than a Shield so you loose a round with the G43.

    Glock Teaser

The article says it holds 6 rounds plus 1.
  9. There may be a thousand reasons why they picked your neighbor over yours or none at all. I have heard criminals say they look for houses without the address numbers visible so cops can't find it easily. One turd just about had a cop fooled into believing that he was at the wrong address. I have heard they don't like a house on a hill, a house with a dog, those with alarms, extra lights, screen doors hitting them in the back while trying to kick in the front door, and everything else imaginable.
  10. If my wife did not work for Suntrust we would use USAA for sure. Someday there will be a best selling book about the shenanigans pulled by Regions. Before my wife went to work with Suntrust I had my account at a small bank, they sold my account to a small bank, and that bank sold out to Regions. I went in there to close my account, but they wanted to charge me like $25. I eventually closed it without having to pay, but damn were they a mess. There are no posted Suntrust unless they are within another posted buisness. There were some branches in hospitals, but I think they are all gone.
  11. I can't believe that no one has asked if she is hot yet. Is she hot? It really makes a difference.

    Ruger Ar

They should be priced at about $625 max. Law Enforcemet and Military can buy them for $590 OTD at a Ruger LE dealer. As long as you don't want to swap out a bunch of parts they are the best value out there.
  13. She is worried about it being haunted? People like that are idiots; don't worry with them.

    It is a beautiful piece.
  15. You guys are calling BS on a guy shooting at a group of cops 125yds away and having a 50% hit rate?
  16. What kind of hummer are we talking about?

That picture is BS; you can't fit a 9x19 catridge in the G42 magazine well, and especially not the magazine. That photo looks like the exact same dimensions as a G42.

Yeah, I can't see me parting with my Shield. I actually hope this is the ss9 so I can pick up some more Shields cheap.
  20. It is only posted for one reason. The fact that it has been a problem previously.
  21. That picture came out sometime ago and was deemed a hoax.

The last couple of times I went to Lake Winnie was during the Halloween special, and it was the best $20 I ever spent.
  23. Well, small primer 45acp was unheard of many years ago, but now even Speer has some out there. To me it is an advantage because normally SPP disappear on shelves before LPP. At least .45acp guys can have the option of both. It just requires separating.
  24. To my understanding the concern is with the powder and powder load used to push the bullets at high velocity. At 158 grain bullet and below traveling at less than 1200fps should be good for a steady diet. Even 180gr traveling at 1400 FPS can cause issues. Also, by frequently cleaning the forcing come and barrel you can eliminate the dangers. Really, it is a gamble with k frames. There have been stories of them having split forcing comes from just .38spl loads.
  25. We have slightly veered from topic. The issue in question is concerning a 1911 being carry cocked, but without using a safety. I totally agree that safeties have no place on a self-defense firearm. I have made an exception with my Shield, but I know that it is there to deal with.
