I can't see the justification in this case.

The 232 is probably about as big as a Bersa, Shield, or a XDS. Those Chief Specials are probably the smallest in service calibers. http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7042/uhft.jpg

I forgot about the S&W Chief Specials in 9/40/45. They are fine weapons. The Sig 239 I had was a little larger than my 3913. I tried to pocket carry it but it was too large. I can't really speak for the 224 though.

I have pocket carried my 3913 a little over the years, but it is not a pocket pistol. Other than the Sig 232/230, some Bersas, and a few less desirable guns like the accutek there are not a lot of choices.

I have seen more guns on Walmart shelves than I have seen in years. There was probably six different AR's.

My thought is yes, but no. The Gold Dot and American Eagle 327 loads have more energy out of just a 3" barrel revolver than a 38spl has in a rifle length barrel. The 327mag has twice the energy out of a 2-3" barrel revolver than its .32H&R counterpart. http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/megraphs/38special.html http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/megraphs/32hr.html http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/megraphs/327mag.html In these test for a revolver you will actual add an inch for the cylinder because these test were all done on a single shot barrel where which measure muzzle to the breech face.

I have stumped across a few stashes of .327 Fed Mag before, and once was during the 2013 ammo crisis. You can fire 32acp of top of the other well known acceptable catridges but you risk light primer strikes. To me the advantage is a perfect compromise between the hottes 38spl and the 357mag all while gaining an extra round. I really wished that they would have done it in the LCR instead.

I actually know that is the whole purpose behind it. I still like to mess with them. I remember Bilo starting it in 97ish, and whoever has my mom's old phone number gets a lot fuel perks. She hasn't had that number in 15 years, but I still give them the number. The same for ACE; I give them my ex's number and we broke up in 1998. Of course I give them ten incorrect ones first, lol.

If Chattanooga still had a Kroger I would shop it. I get so tired of damn club cards and everybody except Walmart has them. I normally ask them to look it up by phone number and purposely give them about a half dozen wrong numbers first. One day these places will figure out that having club cards do nothing except waist money.

There were several reasons told to my by actual NYPD officers a few years back on why they can no longer carry a K9. None of the reasons were quality related.

I can if he doesn't have one.

My great-grandfather was a clown in the circus. Please don't associate his type with dummy, liberal Douche Bags.

This sounds like friend of mine in West Virgina. While there are one or two high dollar ones in his collection, he shoots and speaks of his Springfields and RIA more than any of them.

No one here has advocated carrying it halfcocked; it is my understanding that it is an inadvertent act that is not easily distinguishable from hammer down.
-
I have not tinkered with them enough, but supposedly you can not very well destinguish between half-cocked and hammer down. It may or may not be enough to detonate a primer.

Pretty much, I was a traffic investigator in a state that did not require helmets. I have worked some pretty gruesome car and motorcycle wrecks that also become ugly court cases. It was also a no-fault state; I can not image the craziness with the way insurance is in TN. While I believe in freedom, You are utilizing local, state, and federally funded roads. When the police have to detour traffic and spend hours upon hours investigating a wreck that has become serious because of the lack of safety equipment like helmets and seatbelts, it becomes a government interest.

The worst ever was a mint julep.
-
Just a word of caution, if you were to accidentally put it In the half-cock position it will fire with the the safety engaged. I can't believe they let them leave the factory this way. Other than that, and the price, they are a fine piece.
-
Yeah, I forgot about the PPS even though my father has one. I can't really classify the 3913 in the same category; I have one.
-
Actually, I am going to say they are only three years late. Three years ago the Shield debuted, and ultimately paved the way for the XDS and the Sig 938. The original LC9, PF9, and Kahrs were just a little different and not quite shootable, combat worthy guns. Figure that at least half of the Shields, XDS, and 938's would not have sold if the G43 had been available. That has got to be several hundred thousand guns.

I see no point in ammo consolidation. In fact, I see it as a disadvantage. Let's be honest, are you going to shoot any more or any less if you are just buying three calibers? I have a gun in .380, but that does not mean that I have to shoot it. I generally buy one box of .380 per year when I stumble across a deal. What if there is a real run on ammo and all that you can find is a box of .45acp, 40, or 38spl. You can break it down to reload, trade it, or just shoot the gun you have dedicated for it.

I could never get over the wideness enough to give one a try.

He can take either tag and get a refund, but it will be no more than a few dollars.

I have understood the issue as being wooden hull vessels not being approved for passenger travel.

Once I discovered the $12 Glock Sport Combat holster I rarely resorted to anything else.
