I have a close friend that tells me the .327 in the S&W 632 feels about like a warm 38spl. The .327 is his grandfather's but he has some 38 j frames so I believe he can give an accurate assessment. I imagine with the LCRs it may be like shooting the 9mm version.

Yes, I have been anticipating this for a long time. It is a really awesome cartridge and gives you six rounds in a j frame size revolver.

I have about 300 rounds through my G43 and I like it just fine. It has eaten every type of ammo I have fed it. I was waiting until it had proven itself to pickup the TLR-6 and holsters. It was the TLR-6 and cheaper Glock night sights that drew me to the 43. I also needed the slightly smaller profile. It is amazing what an eighth or a quarter of an inch here and there does. I will go on record and say that I still think the Shield is a better handling and better built gun.

The Pearce Plus 1 extension is available now for the 43 also.

The issue has to do wit the magazines lightweight and shape. People are filing the bottom off the mag release so it will load and eject cleaner. I don't know that Glock is offering a fix.
-
If you never plan to reverse it there is a fix that can be done with the factory release.
-
It's not just yours; it is a known issue with all of them to a degree.

I was just thinking the other day about a family friend that carried that around in his wallet many years ago.
-
As I listened to his excuse once again I further realized just how much like a politician he is.

I would not hesitate to recommend the 43 or the Shield for an EDC gun to serve as home protection as well. If I could only own one handgun it may very well be a G43.
-
Yeah, the TLR-6 doesn't make the gun any harder to conceal. In fact, I wished they made such a low profile device other Glocks.

I am a firm believer in seeing your target as being far more important than sight alignment. The Streamlight TLR-6 was the selling point for me to purchase a G43. I don't have the Streamlight yet; I wanted to make sure I liked the 43 first. I do have night sights on my frequently carried G27, but n/s are no replacement for a light even if it is an unattached flashlight. I am not even one that thinks n/s are must. For most all close encounter situations that civilians will find themselves in the night sights will not be needed.

I have messed with a Pitbull before.. The only complaints are that it can be a booger to load because the ammo requires a push to get them to seat and that they do not always eject positively even though it is a short casing.

While the Sig 239 is an awesome firearm it is large. I really regret letting mine go though.

Booths Bowery is still there, but it seems like every year it gets a little less attractive and accommodating. I found some pretty bad reviews online recently so was a little hesitate about recommending. Our Bar Down Under is almost in the same boat; I can't say it is what it used to be. North Turn, Aunt Catfish's, and Inlet Harbor are very popular and decent but not worth the usual wait. I would not recommend JB's Fish Camp as it very overrated, but Norwoods is great dining and very reasonably priced. Both of these are in New Smyrna. .

The worst aspect of the Rock Island revolvers is the weight, but I myself have been tempted to drop $200 on one. The Rhinos are in a completely different category, but are a very desirable piece. I hear a lot more towards the good than the bad on the newer Charter Arms.

I have spent a lot of time there over the years. I highly recommend a basa sandwich from Boondocks in Port Orange. Charlie Horse in Daytona has some really good grilled wings.

Also, when you decide on a FFL make sure they are not a pawn shop. When a pawn shop does a transfer they have to hold it for almost a month unless it is coming from another FFL. I sold a brand new Glock 27 because I had multiple 27's, and since I bought it on a department letterhead I required a FFL transfer. I had to sell it for significantly less just to find a buyer willing to go through the hassle.

I too have been pleased with the Berry's plated bullets. I don't know what they charge for shipping, but I normally buy these in their store. http://www.northgeorgiareloading.com/pistol-rifle-shotgun-ammo-reloading.html?getcat=54&listtype=0

I have seen the amount of microscopic fecal matter that goes everywhere when you flush with the lid up. For that reason the lid stays down!

I owned one and I have nothing but love for Keltecs; they are great for what they are. The P11 is a great gun and the p32 is also. I don't see buying a p3at over a LCP, but the p3at is a good gun. The Pf9 is one of the worst handling guns I have ever shot. My 357 mag j frame recoils less than a pf9. The Shield is three times the gun for only a few dollars more.

I highly recommend Fox Moving Company. They have moved me a few times for very reasonable prices. Edit: Fox was recommended by a friend of mine that used to have his own little moving company. He told me that a good general rule is $200 per room for in town moves and add $200 for the transportation. Bulk items run the price up accordingly. These places all charge by the hour and most 3 bedroom homes can be moved for $1000.

Both are unbelievably mild and pleasant to shoot.

You should really borrow or rent both. The 19 gets praise for its perfect size and you cannot discount the aftermarket following of everything imaginable available for Glocks. The M&P does appear to have refined ergonomics over the Glocks according to most.
