  1. Are the Buck 110 knives still as great as they once were? I know the 110 is still made in the USA, but that doesn't mean that the quality is still excellent. I am even thinking about buying one through their custom shop with elk stag.
  2. The $425.xx price is the price at sub-distributors. Chances are that you do not have a Law Enforcement distributor in your area; their price is the $398.20.
  3. Oh, I forgot about it having the four back straps.
  4. Well, all gen4 Glocks except the 42 and 43 will come with three magazines. The $398.xx Blue Label price includes standard plastic sights. Inside the clamshell case will be the firearm, 3 magazines, loader, lock, bore brush with rod, paperwork, and test fired cartridge.

    Ruger SR45

I know law enforcement pricing is $428 without night sights. Where have you seen them for that? I think le pricing on the cheapest 45 is close to a grand.
  6. I have seen some at Gander Mountain in Chattanooga and it was one of the only reasonably priced items in the store. I hardly ever travel to Nashville. I don't know if you guys have a goose or not.

    M&P 9mm

Everyone, no matter how large their hands, think they will use the large backstraps on handguns. However, everyone ends up using the small.

    Ruger SR45

I hear you on that Sig2022. I think the M&P 45 is the best of the double stack M&P's and probably the best feeling polymer 45acp made. I have some friends that have carried the 45M&P's at a local police department and have never seen failures. Some of their M&P's supposedly have more than 20k rounds through them.

    Ruger SR45

Personally I am not a fan. The first one I ever held I was going to buy until we broke it trying to reassemble it in the store. That was enough to discourage me. If I recall it was with an ejector that had to be pushed in a certain direction for assembly and disassembly. I read of other issues such as the mag release issue, but I don't know if these issues occur more frequently than with other handguns.
  10. My step-father has a H&K, you know the squeeze cocker gun. It actually has a fair amount of recoil for such a heavy gun but I think it is striker fired.
  11. I believe they have free shipping going on, but you do have to pay the 7% GA tax even if it is going to TN.
  12. Well, it is within Islamic believes that drinking, drugs, and adultery are sins; all of which the killer was heavily involved. Becoming a martyr is a way to be forgiven of those sins if you are a Muslim.
  13. I see no possible way he was seeking cop assisted suicide
  14. I was at GT's earlier and they have their stash of 180 Grain 40ammo on sale for 13.99 for a box of 50. I hear they have a significant amount of it as well. Well, apparently it is now $14.99 a box but there is still free shipping.
  15. I have also heard of more than one health care plan that appeared more economical that didn't meet ACA standards resulting in penalties.
  16. I have noticed three things that make guns collectible. They normally have personal connections for lots of people; like grandpas old s&w duty revolver or the pump 22lr that looks like your uncles old gun you cut your teeth with one cold day. Second, you generally don't think that gun will ever become a collector because they were so common or not very desireable when they were being made. Lastly, the gun can't be in production or at least being produced in the same manner and some quality as it once was.
  17. It's what the free market allows.
  18. In my experience, items that you think will be collectible one day will not be. Otherwise, items that you assume will be of no value will one day be in demand. It is really just anyone's guess.
  19. The Sig p250 and p320 are as lefty friendly as they are righty friendly.
  20. I have been looking for one. What did you pay for it? How is the recoil with 327 magnums?
  21. I hate printing about as much as carrying IWB. This has worked well for me over the last five years with many holsters including the Glock Sport Combat holster.
  22. That tick is not unheard of and neither is that engine lasting 500k miles.
  23. I cut my teeth with auto ownership when I bought the Glock 20. It does everything a .357 mag does but a little bit better in all aspects with more mass, more sectional density, more capacity, more velocity, and better control. I have a close friend who has a 6" 41mag, and yes the 41mag has 15% more energy, but the Glock 20 is so much easier to shoot, and to shoot well. My opinion is that a full powered 10mm is a dandy trail gun in the lower 48. I hear the 10 does have an amazing following in Alaska, but I am of the opinion even the 44mag may be weak for Alaska hiking.
  24. My father has the 9mm version and it is the only bottom feeder that he owns. It is a fine shooter with a decent trigger. I don't think that it has ever malfunctioned. However, I see no reason to buy a PPS over a Shield. We both agree that the Shield is the better gun in almost all aspects.
  25. I have read into that story a lot before; I even heard at least one of the Gold Dots bounced off the turds head. That event lead to some departments choosing to dump 230 gr ammo. Even two shoots of 12ga buckshot fired point blank into center mass by Bill Allard failed to stop a guy that was eventually dropped with a .38.
