  1. If they remade the Dirty Harry movies I wonder what modern firearm he would carry?
  2. The only problem I have with a Beretta 92FS is that they are boreing and reliable boreing. I have fired probably 10k-15k rounds through them with the only problem being I discovered a bad magazine one time. If it was the only gun I was able to own I would be quite ok with it. You just can't go wrong. Lightere than most 1911's butstill a little heavy for around the clock carry.

    Gen 4 Glock 17

Yes, I like most with big hands thought I wanted the large strap on. Comes to find out I liked the naked backstrap.
  4. Yes, shoot away. 460 is a bad boy, dont get used to that mild 454/45lc

    Gen 4 Glock 17

Im a happy Gen 4 owner but even with big hands I like it without a backstrap on it. I also prefer a Gen 3RTF over all ot them.
  6. She just doesn't want a hi power rifle round traveling 800-1000 meters. Muzzleloader, pistol, shotgun slug, and etc keeps that stray shot from traveling into a horse pasture or the subdivision down the road.Like I said before, I believe the SBR in question is a larger caliber 6.8 or 7.62
  7. Good eye alleycat for catching that!

    Glock 34 ??

I'd be intrested. Can you send me the first few characters of the serial? I'm curious how old it is.
  9. He was talking more like a 7.5" to 10.5" barrel NFA registered SBR with a rifle stock. I personally would not spend the $250 for the tax stamp but I am curious if it's legal to hunt with anyway.
  10. So a friend of the family was scouting my wifes familys property yesterday and we crossed paths. I had hunted there before but all I ever saw was does, the bucks are there I just never saw them. I happened to mention that the grandmother doesn't like for whoever to use rifles but she wouldn't ever know anyway. He said he was aware of that and that he had been thinking about a short barrel rifle build and was wondering if it was addressed anywhere by TWRA. Anybody know? For sake of arguement lets just say it's bigger than 5.56.
  11. I'll take a refurbed German Sig any day. Don't even worry if it is one, it doesn't matter.
  12. Use a large enough caliber(when possible) and it will not matter.
  13. Where did you find the conversions at? I have about given up.
  14. It will probably hold a tighter shot group than my Remington 700.
  15. I have seen both extremes when talking about detectives with there firearms. Some will never go anywhere without a firearm and some will take it out of a holster in front of whom ever and put it where ever. I have watched numerous officers take the gun belt off and put it in the trunk of there car before walking off from it.
  16. Did they close up? There is some sage brush blowing through the parking lot.

    9mm revolver

The Taurus version has a few problems as they made the moon clips to flimsy.

    Today's Purchase

Remember in the holster search that a holster for a Glock 19 will 99% of the time work.

    Glock Question

The copper is the factory greese.
  23. Glock 22's are hard to trade off because there are so many out there because of the Law Enforcement crowd. Just be patient. Like new gun with NS, 3 mags should bring $475 fairly easy.
  24. I have a close friend who had one. She kept it about a year, which is a long time for her btw. She got it because her dad would not let her have a Wrangler or a H2. Everything you think will be bad with it is exactly what is bad. Honestly the gas mileage is about 16, and might be better with someone else behind the wheel. I rode in it some and was unimpressed with interior room, power, and handleing. It's fairly loud inside and terrible seating design and hard to work around them for carrying big things. Oh yeah the blind spots are the worst. Expect every want to be rapper and gangster in town to talk to you at the gas station. The leather seats cracked the first week of ownership as did the windshield, and both were replaced under warranty. The second time it happen they wouldn't so a week before trade in they paid to have them replaced. I actually thought the price was competitive with some of the other SUV's in its class and I was suprised to see that depreciation was only a few thousand from new to used in one year(21k miles).
  25. Not that it really matters, but does anyone else recall hearing that the "victim" was a tranny?
