  2. Of those two the Kahr by all means. Some of your 1911 mags will work in that cw45 btw.

  4. The pt745 is a great size
  5. If there was a database then guns would never get recovered. Stolen ones that were reported would get hid in a sock drawer for 25yrs.
  6. I just heard someone bought one at craigs firearms for under $400
  7. I have seen them that look like new for under $500.

    sif 250 2sum?

Word is Sig's response to this problem hinges on the future purchase of Sig's by Homeland Security.

    sif 250 2sum?

From what Im hearing Homeland Security is demanding that Sig replace there 250's as it's not been met service requirements. I was told the Air Marshals dont even have 250's in service right now and they are all at the manufacturer waiting to see what will happen. In my opinion the Compact is the only one worth having. If you like revolver dao triggers or keltecs you will love a 250. Another issue has been the magazine generation differences and they are specific to each generation. There have been troubles with finding holsters. Almost every holster for a 220/226 Will Not Fit.
  11. OS, Im saying it specifically applies to them and a normal thug's charge isn't as severe. They would be charged Intent to go armed and more than likely not prosecuted.
  12. Someone through the LEO card scenario out there. It just means we can't be prosecuted, they still have the right to post a sign and tell us(and we must) leave. So that may be something else to address and as far as I know a unlicensed carrying person can't be prosecuted only HCP holders. They would be just charged with intent to go armed. I dont care as I always conceal anyway.
  13. First off it's a bad idea and not worth it. The trick is not even making it sound like shes hired you as security. She's hired you as a driver or as a servant. I know Cops that moonlight as security offduty outside there juristriction and take a huge gamble and most say they are only there as a consultants. Police even in there Juristriction should pay the fees to work offduty. Except some of the Fed Contract security the industry is terrible with lots of people looking for work. I know a guy with uniforms, weapon all that license and insured as a buisness that works for min wage to have something fairly regularly.
  14. The Barami's just look like they would not be scure enough but there cheap.
  15. Pocket carry sucks if in a vehicle and ankle carry is about the most untactical place of all to carry.
  16. When it comes to stolen firearms it is to my understanding that the information needs to continuesly be reentered into NCIC every year. So the longer it has been stolen the less likely it would be to show up. So I would say the chances of it showing up stolen if it really was is less than 50% because most people don't know there serials anyway. If they bought the gun new the BATF can retreive the serial numbers if the reporting agency knows or cares to call. Stolen guns are weird, it's almost always a a saturday night special $100 gun especially HiPoints. If it is a quality gun it's almost always a SIG or a Smith. Oh and everyway there is to "run" serial numbers will require you to relinquish the firearm if it is hot.
  17. FWIW, I have always imagined my BUG would most likely be used within a couple of feet if not pushed up against the target. This has always lead me to believe that I want the hottest round and not necessarily the one I group the best with. I understand a concearn with slower followup shots.
