  1. I got the idea from a friend that wears an IWB like this with it between the pants and the belt.
  2. No I dont know what model Galco it is. Actually it had a thumbstrap and I cut it off but left the back and cut it even with the slide. I thought I modeled it simiar to the ones without the strap and they call it an open top. By running the belt through backwards it keeps it snug and conceals about as well as a IWB.
  3. ^There is leather between the gun and my side there.

    Gun Explodes

Rumor is that both men had been consuming alcohol and the weapon in question was an old taped together $40 single shot.
  5. I use a $50 Galco pancake holster and feed the belt through backwards and it really rides tight.

    Ruger SR22

I dont remember a polymer revolver before the LCR. Was the 44mag autos copies of something other than a 10/22?I do see what your saying, they tease of the LCP4.2/LCR4.2 and the LC45, but instead just follow behind everyone else
  7. I racked my LCP slide a few hundred times and never had a malfunction.
  8. Its a long way from JC.We have several great shops around Chattanooga.
  9. I have seen a lot of them listed at 500-700 but I don't think they really sale at that or at least not very often. There one of those guns that the people that desired them are getting thinned out every day.

    Ruger SR1911

GT distributors had some a while back for 749 or 799 I dont remember. I think I have actually seen one at J and M Pawn in Chattanooga also but I didn't see a price. Hes very competitve there though.
  11. ^Only the baby Glocks had dual recoil springs on Gen 3's. Honestly the thickness of the grip front to back without a strap or with the med is so negligible I don't have a preference. Handle them both and which ever you like then will be the one your most happy with later.
  12. With my J frame I 'm not worried as it has a long stiff trigger.
  13. After buying all those 1911's, just to find one that would work, you bought the only Glock you could afford.

    Gift Idea?

I actually heard a career criminal(when I worked in a jail) tell me if a woman pulled a pink gun on him he would feel more threatened because she's a Female Gun Psycho.
  15. ^ Got them on the list.
  16. I thought I would share with you my families passed down Colt Snubby. It's got a Kframe sized grip and it's a 6 shooter. It's been nickled in it's life sometime prior to 1970 so it doesn't say Colt on it but the serial numbers are visible. Anyone know what model Colt it could be?
  17. You can't go wrong with either one. I do feel the Double spring with the gen 4 tames recoil a very very small amount. You don't need a longer mag release with the Gen 4 as it's a advanced design. I would cut on the frame of my Gen3 to add a Gen 4 mag release if it were offered.
  18. I thought at first you had a problem with my grammer and punctuation as I had typed it from my cell phone. I will have to fix that. I, like most people, are so used to text messaging I can't type complete sentences anymore. Sent from your moms' computer
  19. Well, my father in laws' has had a few rounds get weak primer strikes. We got it for him at Sportsmans on fathers day while on sale. Recoil is most likely a little less than 357 out of your Ruger, but I'll tell you expect to get lead and powder out the sides. Overall everybodys pretty happy as it's a novelty gun. Ammo cost are up there, 410 I think is a good deal for field loads at less than 40 cents a round. So the 410 is cheaper to shoot than the 45lc. My dad talked about wanting a judge but after shooting the one belonging to the inlaws' he hasn't said anything else about one. That is the cheapest price you can expect to find.
  20. I'm wondering something here, and this may have allready been covered. I know police can't arrest a police officer on duty even if they commit a felony in there presence but what about when there on there way to work? I'm asking this because it was brought up where I worked years ago. Same kind of holds true for some elected officials. All this may be irrelevant but it was one of the first things to come to my mind. I'm not saying the LEO's were in the right.
  21. If you act fast on a CM9 I think you can still get an extra mag free.
  22. I have a LCR, CW45, and a S&W 642. Of those 3 the LCR has the best trigger. My only complaint on the LCR is i short stroke the trigger all the time.
  23. That case I think is a Academy Sports exclusive and it gives an extra mag to.

    Ruger SP101 4.2

I heard they are going to make LCR's and LCP's in 4.2" so they can be sold in Canada.
  25. That is to close to the price of a new one. Since Keltec is only warranting the orriginal owners now, I would not buy a used one unless I could same 30%. I love Keltecs but a lot of them have to go back.
