  1. I heald off opening it because I thought it was going to say I'm getting married even still after the cell picture.
  2. Everyone will agree. I do like 40 because if the recoil is harder, the round hiting the target is harder to though. I would choose the M&P 45C, because I hate 45 Glocks. I have been impressed with the one I have handled. I just like 9's and 40's in my glocks and nothing else.
  3. I should make light of the fact that nearly every Police officer I have asked in my life including myself will not eat at a Waffle House because of the unwelcome feeling. I drive by that Waffle House on my way to and from work. That may actually be the last WH I have eaten at but it's been a few years. I'm not 100% sure but it is to my understanding that a gunbusters sign and the statute does also pertain to Law Enforcement unless it says excluding LE. The catch is we can't be charged. Basically they are telling us we are not welcome while carrying.
  4. Well even though the suspect has had Domestic Violence Charges I am seeing a Handgun Carry Permit issued to a James Benson in Chattanooga. The media is saying James L Benson, 50 of Chattanooga, is the suspect.
  5. I'm not so sure that if it is posted that you can be prosecuted or even arrested. I think the police just tell you that you have to leave. Because it's in GA.
  6. Thanks, I really appreciate your time.
  7. Would you care to date a J frame also? it's a 642 and it's CAN5XXX
  8. Thanks! I thought about purchasing a letter but I think now I know everything it would say.
  9. I just thought of something. Would it really hit you in the head. If the top blew off wouldn't the frame push down? The top may have hit him in the head.
  10. Hoax because revolvers never malfunction! If you have any more questions I'll be out back putting 10k more rounds of Norinco ball through my Glock 17. Seriously, I saw that picture a while ago. I believe that is actually a 686 or whatever a 357 mag like that would be. Doesn't it look small to be a 44mag shell? The only thing that makes me wonder is how clean it all is. Another thing is that I am a 44mag shooter and I can't recall ever seeing chinese made 44mag shells.
  11. So I was oiling up my Grandfathers old service weapon earlier today and remembered I have never figured out how old it is. It's a 4"BBl 10-6 matte finish 38spl. Serial No. D260XXX I believe it is newer than a 1969 model as he shot a fleeing felon around that time and had to start with a new one afterwards. I know I misspelled someone.
  12. Apparently you have never owned a Sigma, especially a .380?
  13. Someone said the recoil between a PPS and a 19 wasewre about the same and they are no where near the same. That thin grip much like a kahr makes it terrible
  14. I've loved some 915's and 5906's in my life but there big. The 469 is a little bit more on the concealed carry menu or the 6906/6904/6946. a CS9/lady smith9 can sometimes be found decently priced.
  15. It sounds like you guys just need to go looking for a 9mm larger than the PPS. I'm a Glock 19/26 fan myself, but the slight extra weight of a XDSC or an M&PC would be an advantage. I've done Sigs in the past and could handle 239 ownership again but I feel a Glock 26 has an advantage over it. I would stay away from most Kahr's, LC9, Bersa's to name a few. Nothing against them but you would have the same complaints. Someone recommended a Taurus PT111 which would be great but they require testing for reliability. The one I had was great for a few hundred rounds and then the mags got weak and they startring causing issues(this is common) so I just traded it off. New mags were expensive for it.
  16. In my early days as a cop I went to several home break ins were they either shot/hurt the dog or opened the door and lured them outside. Some arent that scared of dogs.
  17. I have always gathered that the tomcats were great guns. If you can feel comfortable with 32acp, and I can, there fine. The LCP/keltec sales have really hurt those.
  18. Those Remington Golden's have given me trouble in everything.I dig the Classic Smith but I like being able to shoot plus P in my airweight and LCR.
  19. I tuink OP is really looking for something a lot closer to the body.
  20. I got the idea from a friend that wears an IWB like this with it between the pants and the belt.
  21. No I dont know what model Galco it is. Actually it had a thumbstrap and I cut it off but left the back and cut it even with the slide. I thought I modeled it simiar to the ones without the strap and they call it an open top. By running the belt through backwards it keeps it snug and conceals about as well as a IWB.
  22. ^There is leather between the gun and my side there.

    Gun Explodes

Rumor is that both men had been consuming alcohol and the weapon in question was an old taped together $40 single shot.
  24. I use a $50 Galco pancake holster and feed the belt through backwards and it really rides tight.

    Ruger SR22

I dont remember a polymer revolver before the LCR. Was the 44mag autos copies of something other than a 10/22?I do see what your saying, they tease of the LCP4.2/LCR4.2 and the LC45, but instead just follow behind everyone else
