  1. I rode in a 12 hour HUMVEE ride from Bagram to KAF, facing backwards in the rear gun. I was so happy to see KAF. The only saving grace was it was about 75%-60% during the trip.
  2. YEAH!
  3. I'm very familiar with the model 36, I'm probably questioning the price more so than anything. It seams like a deal. There are better carry pieces out there, my Grandfather had a 36 that I wish I had is the reason I'm thinking so hard on it.
  4. I bought it. Pictures. I found a 2" S&W 36 nickel today in about 70% or better but with aftermarket grips
  5. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. Never mind they took it down.
  6. I have shot a 238 and I was impressed. However, I dont see how it has been so popular. It's easy to carry and it's excellent craftsmanship but it kind of reminds me of a Bonds Arm derringer in that its pretty but requires a lot to safely carry and then deploy. My only complaint on a LCR is I short stroke the trigger, and if your used to trigger reset you will to.
  7. Well do you want to squeeze a trigger to shoot or cock it first?
  8. Its on the verge of being heavy enough that IWB carry is what will be comfortable. What style of carry are you thinking. Ill tell you its too heavy for ankle or pocket carry.
  9. Ok hear is another problem. When you travel to IN beware as I dont think TN permit is good there. Never mind as I see it had changed. I got hasseled with IN trying to get info on carrying there before.
  10. Well, you didn't draw your weapon so I don't see anything "wrong" with what you did. The out come was great so maybe you did everything you should have done.
  11. The only problem I have ever seen/heard of with there performamce is they don't like to be ran dry. Make sure she stays a little oily inside.
  12. Im really surprised to hear that.
  13. Being that your so concearned for a safety feature how about a LC9 with a mag safety. If you needed to you could keep a round in the chamber and remove the mag to keep the kids safe. Im a firm believer in always having the gun either on me or somewhere kids cant reach it anyway.
  14. Bersas are pretty damn reliable but the finish is their downfall.
  15. Of those the XD would be my choice then the SR9 but not a Taurus.
  16. By getting the TN DL you have cornered yourself into needing a TN HCP. I don't know technically if your covered right now or not. I just had to give a copy of my orders to buy handguns out of state when I was in the Military. You kind of get like a double residency. What was really weird was in Hawaii we had people with HI license that had a TN or whereever address.
  17. I think TN does honor IN but I think if you have a TN license you must have a TN permit. Active duty can buy in their State their stationed in with orders regardless of state of residence.
  18. With the CT the laser is brighter as well.
  19. As much as I hate to say it: Tula brand ammo from Walmart.
  20. It will have been 10years in October for me. I have been out completely for about one year. I tell you the Army has changed a lot in the last 10yrs.
  21. I'm actually happy to hear someone admitt that the 357 mag is a better performer than a 45acp. I am by no means a 45 fan. As a matter of fact I have tried to catch on but have never been impressed, especially after catching to richochets from them. There are a lot of people that think if it's not a 45 it's not worth owning.

    .327 Federal?

An LCR 327 would be great.
  23. Fugates is top notch and they generally can get you in a class with a weeks notice. By having two certified instructors they are able to cut the class from 8hrs to 4 hrs

    Walthers

Yes, I actually think the P99 is no longer being produced. Being that S&W is so influential in production I think the M&P was thought of as superior.

    .327 Federal?

Yes most are 6 shot 327 vs 5 shot 38/357
