  1. I never would have thought things would be like they are with them.
  2. I hope not. Roll Tide! I am fishing for everyone to say Bama looks better.
  3. South Carolina looked as good or better than the Tide. Things are going to get intresting.
  4. I've talked to people that give good reviews but they do like to run well lubricated. The really really cheap 22lr ammo doesn't fair too well.
  5. Seamed very accurate to me with a stock G19 barrel. There is a lot of play in Sig barrels and slides but people swear by their accuracy. I remember reading that one of the professional shooters used a factory G34 barrel in a G35 with 10 thousand plus rounds and no signs of wear. Buy a conversion barrel if your buying but if your like me and have G19 barrel use it.
  6. Actually there are people that say they have been using a factory 9mm barrel for years and thousands of rounds. I've done it but it has been closer to 500 rounds. The reason is I've never been able to find a conversion barrel in stock anywhere.
  7. I don't believe anything that kid says. One reason is at .40 plus you are so tore up you can't recall anything.
  8. I've got easily $1500 invested in my G22 after night sights, extra magazines, ammo, dialing in, a G23 to keep it company and a G27 to share their magazines.
  9. There is a formula for the levels of intoxication so a enema should t be more potent than a equal sized drink but I've always looked at it kind of like a I V and how it goes to work somewhat faster. It seams like a enema induced would wear off quicker..
  10. I'm sure there is still a hangover, If I recall the stomach process the alcohol slower. I've been through several alcohol related classes but cant remember the rates and the complete process.
  11. I actually think your right it seams like I was told once that it will show up on breath but at a proportion different. I worked in Hawaii where we often did breath and blood on the same person~15 min apart and the blood and breath was consistently within .005 or less of each other. This has really got me wondering because the whole idea of the enema was to get more intoxicated faster but it would wear off sooner.
  12. We had a guy crying before he even got sprayed. This guy was scared sh*tless. We held him down to spray him because he was going nuts. He gets a shot to the forehead and looks around, stops crying and starts laughing. He runs the course kicking the piss out of all of us and leaves without even washing it off. He was completely unaffected. One lucky guy to be that 1 in 100 to have no reaction. My old chief tells a story of using a baton on a guy for about 5 minutes with little to no effect. The guy even refused to go to the hospital afterwards.
  13. I am O positive as well. I have a friend that is "ginger" for lack of better terms and he has as bad or worse reaction than I do. He swears his light skin has everything to do with it.
  14. I had a never fired OD G23 I traded the other day for a rare prelock S&W airlite. So even with the FDE the OD's are still bring 5-10% more. The guy I traded with actually wanted a FDE but settled for a OD.
  15. I thought I was going to die when I got pepper sprayed. I would rather get tasered everyday than get pepper sprayed one more time.
  16. I've never heard of one but it could be a city ordinance to inform. I really doubt it but it's possible.
  17. This is old news in Europe, it's a way to get hammered without consuming calories. Also no BrAC, on BAC.
  18. Have you considered getting some OC spray and watch some videos online and read up on it yourself. You can carry OC spray just about everywhere but on a airplane and there is a whole lot less liability with it. Even as a police officer I went extended periods of time without carrying a baton. There is so much liability when you use a baton and they are a hassle to carry, and yes, even the collapsable ones.

I've had three and decided to keep the latest one. Mine have all been reliable except with WWB because they are a flat point. I much prefer a LCP but there are a few advantages/disadvantage to both. I will carry mine as a BUG or when I shouldn't be carrying. I feel a 32acp's lethalness is about like a 22lr from a short barrel.
  20. No there are a few 45GAP 1911's out there. I had a friend actually looking for one before buying one online.
  21. Well if a HP doesn't expand will it leave a smaller hole than a FMJ? Probably not, probably just as deep as well. I think HP are worth the gamble. I've seen some documents on HP 230 gr .45 acp from some manufacturers not having enough velocity to expand anyway so make sure yours will.
  22. ^Inheritance is fine but he would it would be best to go pick them up himself otherwise all of them will need to be shipped to a FFL. Even long gun transfers across state lines is a no go.
  23. I have no clue why but I miss Afghanistan. I was there at a great time and with a great group and I think about it a lot. I believe a lot of it had to do with hopes of the future and thinking about what to do when you get back.
  24. The ATF would probably never know, but it is illegal. It's a class E Felony to be exact. If you ever used the gun in self defense there may become the question of where you got it and how it came from xxxxx gun shop in VA to TN.
  25. Larger tires display a slower speed. If the tires are 10% bigger the speedometer will be showing 10% less mph.
