You can't beat a Glock for mag availability. A Beretta 92 could come close and then a S&W 59 series. Honestly there wasn't much of a reliabity issue, it was more of a brass to face issue. Even the BTF has plauged the newer Gen3 as much as Gen4's. A pre 08 Glock is known to be a slight bit more trouble free. I however haven't had any issues with mine but I m going off of reports. Glock will still make it right if there is any troubles. As far as Gen3 vs Gen4. It is personal preference. I do not notice rubbing IWB from a Gen4. I do like the smaller grip of gen4's even with my large hands. The dual recoil spring does diminish recoil on geb4's. Like I said personal preference, a few left ganders I know still run the right hand mag release a release with trigger finger.

Domestic terrorist if i have ever seen them. We are actually very fortunate they haven't wised up to IED's. I won't go into it but take the Oklahoma City bombing and how easy it would be to simulate it. I heard about two years ago that schools would be the next great terrorist target, I'm sure they are sitting on their couch saying "wow".

IDK, I have seen the Berettas and Sigs owned by the military wear out. Of course this is mostly springs and pins. I have not been around H&K's long enough but I'm sure they are about the same as Glocks, Smith's, Sigs or what have you. I just don't know that any one particular male will outlast the others.

They had one (some) yesterday, or at least the Hixson one did.

Ok with Unique and level across the top: .5cc dipper was throwing about 3.8 gr .7cc dipper was throwing about 5.8 gr Use this information at your own risk. These are just my findings and your results may differ.

There are some great S&W 45 acp autos. I know your open to other calibers but the 3rd gen autos are fine carry pieces.

I actually have used the lee measuring spoons with unique and for 38spl. How odd right? I use 4.7 grains of Unique for 158 gr LSWC, measured out on a scale. I bought the powder dippers just for checking my scale and sometimes to keep from reseting the powder dispenser and scale. The powder dippers and chart are really conservative. I'll look later and measure the spoon (is it the .5cc?) to see what that amount of Unique weighs. Honestly I see no issue with using dippers if you are positive it's the right amount. Also the Lee Nanual Loader is good for occasionally reloading.

I know the short barrel takes away from the velocity but it really was a decent size. Definetly a K/L frame size, I know it's a handful. I wouldn't be so intrested but for the price it's hard to beat.

I never had a problem with someone waiting to pull over in a safe lit parking lot. The only real chase I ever got into I didn't realize it was one until about 3 min into it.

Fact- Cities that have unmarked, slick top, or low profile police cars have a lower crime rate. I never would have believed it until I worked in one. Honestly chiefs, mayors, and council members hate unmarked cars because even when they sit in front of a house residents say the police never come down my street. When a marked car drives by the residents love seeing the marked police car. Flashy police cars help mayors get reelected and the brass more money. A city full of unmarked cars gets people thinking every car on the road might be a police car. It's true, I have seen it.

What I mean by people are the victims is the government is not claiming an intrest but someone(the mall) chooses for this individual to not be there. By asking him to leave and he rufuses, he is subject to prosecution by the people(mall). Example in a court case they say the people vs. .../ the state vs....../ Smith vs.Johnson
-
A lot of people go to jail for exercising their 1st amendment rights because the people are victims. The bill of rights only gives you protection from the government not a buisness, person or private group. Here this guy was asked to cover the writing or leave. When he refused he was charged with trespassing. The mall and it's representatives will prosecute(through the assistance of the DA's office)

Here is what I can tell you. The people in Alaska don't bother with .45's. It used to be 44mag was everything in AK and you could buy 44mag in the grocery stores. Surprisingly the 10mm has developed a following there, it's not at the 44mag popularity yet. Remember the slower a HP is traveling the less it will expand. Even the cherished 230gr Gold Dots have been known not to expand. In a Grizzly I would be more concerned with getting 20" of penetration more than expansion though.

I didn't say it was impossible for jaguars to have two melanistic cubs. Normally it doesnt happen but the odds of one being melanistic is 1/10k, probably the odds of 2 in a litter is 50/50 out of the 1/10k. Those little guys are cute but display a classic example of ghost spots. Diablo that mentioned earlier was born in captivity but was truly solid black.

I am wondering if anyone has bought one of the new Rossi 44mag snub nosed revolvers at Academy? I went and looked at one and honestly it reminded me a lot of its cousin the Judge which I have had some weak primer strikes with. The 44 mag I held seamed to actually be tight and a decent trigger. They had them for $249 on Black Friday but I didnt want to fight the crowd. Since I have a rifle in 44mag so I'd like to have a pistol to shoot the same and have a large stash of 44mag ammo is another reason.

I'm surprised that MO news story hasn't blown up but there is not a documented "black species". Until recently in India a black Panthera has never given birth to another black Panthera. The one in MO is most likely a alleles of a gene known as melanism. I don't doubt that he was black but most likely he had "ghost markings" instead of a solid black pelt.

OS, I didn't know you lived in Omaha, NE. I recognize that guy as Diablo. I'll have to look but I believe he recently passed away.

I recommend you try those BUffalo Bore's out first. The ones I had were so inaccurate I wouldnt even consider carrying them.

There are some wackos that live down the street from me that will do whatever they can to be heard. One of them stopped me today and was talking about the CT incident and how we are reaping the seeds we sow. I was about to say I understand why you think that way and he said, "our government commited this act for diversion and to enslave its people.". This guy never stops with his crazy theories. -

a whole lot of "individual" sales.... wow
Patton replied to Jonnin's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, I knew him. Most of your assumptions are correct. He had several opportunities to come clean and get legal. He was open and bragged about his dealings. I have no sympathy for him, I even wonder how long it would have went on if he would not have sold to the cop killer, that is what sent the ATF his way. Supposedly the reason they stayed so persistent on him was they were wondering how in depth he was since everything he told them in questioning was lies. He actually gave them false written statements, which really pisses the ATF off. -
Well that's a bugger but in TN I couldn't see you being charged or at least indicted by a grand jury. TN law states that even if your carrying a handgun without a permit but use it in self defense there isn't supposed to be a charge of carrying with intent to go armed. If you entered a gun free zone to terminate a shooter than yeah I think you might get commended. Now civilly your a** is out there for the taking.

That's exactly the way it was explained to me TMF.
