  1. I will be supposed if Bama gives them any points.
  2. Bama is playing great. I expect the score to be 28-0 Bama at half time.
  3. I didn't think any of the 229's were true German?

    Stolen pistol

It sounds strange but I have been told that we must resented them every year.
  5. There are several different versions of caliber conversions. The 357 sig is just a barrel change. Getting the 9mm conversion and the 22lr is where you have to know what your ordering. I get really confused with the internal/ external extractor and all that.

You need to call the detective handling your case and make sure he knows that you have not recovered your firearm.
  7. I he bought a Cmodel then it's a Gen3 which would have had 2 mags except for the blue labels.
  8. I have actually had an easier time finding loaded ammunition then reloading supplies here in town. I've really got all that I need but want more. Powder is as scarce as primers.

    Stolen pistol

Oddly enough this is exactly what I had always been told.
  10. Us 40 fanboys got lucky because that order for 450 million rounds of 40s&w didn't hurt the stockpile too much.
  11. It's the governments fault! No, I am serious. The US Government is always placing rediciously large orders for .40 on such short notices ammo manufacturers particularly Winchester keep large stock of .40 and then when a certain date reaches they will send it for retail and then stock a new lot. Apparently when large agencies order ammo they even tell you they have .40 ready to ship sometimes.
  12. I would say 9.7 gr would be pushing it for a 158 gr bullet. I have shot ~7gr of unique with a 158gr bullet and it felt about righ.
  13. Instead of a double charge you may have had bullet setback or over crimped.
  14. I don't think S&W is making very good progress at taking the market back. S&W has totally went the wrong way with marketing to the LE market. I'm seeing a lot of Sigs showing up in LE holsters particularly P220's.
  15. I can tell you that Glock is very secretive, and not even the LE Sales Representative will disclose info. Doing so is supposed to be grounds for termination. There is someone over on Glocktalk that works for Glock but he will not release info. What is speculation is whether or not all of the USA Glock is American. People are saying that they are but until I see proof I think they are speculating.
  16. The safety is like on a M&P down to fire.
  17. Glock is ultra secretive so everything is just speculation. Word is that production in GA has been stepped up to meet demands in the US and for export. Most of the newer 9mm and some G27's have been shipping with nothing but USA markings and GA proof marks.
  18. My only opinion on the SR series is they put a lot of safety crap that makes it look like a disaster waiting to happen. Take the slide off and look at all the springs and gadgets inside and waiting for dirt to clog them.
  19. I kind of wished that I would have kept the CW45, the cheapest I have ever seen them was like $360 new OTD. I may try another one someday. I just never could get the warm fuzzy about mine. Some guys have complained about extractors being blown out and the slide release working its way loose but I never experienced any of that. Kahr's customer service isn't the worse and isn't the best. To my understanding they make you pay to get it there and get it back. It's also common for a gun to go back 2 or 3 times for the same problem.
  20. I shoot with a factory 19 barrel in a 23. I never had an issue and no signs of wear.
  21. I had a CW45 and it was ok. It conceals about as well as a baby Glock, the grip is longer but thinner. It is an extremely rough gun, as in it has sharp corners and rough edges. I have tough hands and It was constantly giving me cuts. It was extremely accurate but it didn't like reloads and they don't like many hollow points. The trigger was ok by me and was about as revolver like as any I have ever felt. 1911 magazines can be fitted to work with the CW45 but I don't know that it's worth the trouble and the extensive testing.
  22. The conversion barrels are always on back order. And magazines, well you know how hard those are to find now.
  23. That is a great deal but it is a entry line safe.
  24. Get 9mm magazines for the best reliabity but 40 mags work 95% of the time.
  25. There was some G17 RTF2 on Buds website a couple of weeks ago before all the crap. They were new production with USA slides.
