  1. And that's how good things start, One man standing up for what he believes in.
  2. I don't know, there's a lemon in every brand every now and then..
  3. You buy used car, you don't know what the previous owner did to the car, it could have been a sludge issue that they didn't take care of and decided to off load it and let it be someone elses problem.    BTW, i bought my wagon used and 3 months later, the oil pickup got clogged while on a trip coming back from Florida. Well turns out that the previous owner decided to do some maintenance and screwed that all up. So they must have decide to offload the problem to someone else. Luckily for me, the shop that did the fix was pretty decent and pointed it out, Dealer (Stan McNabb) and the extended warranty company can suck my balls for handling it really bad.   That's the risk you  run buying used. I just swapped in a engine into my wagon and waiting on registration and alignment to make it my daily/project car.
  4. VAG - Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaf or Volkswagen AG or common mistaken with Volkswagen Audi Group.. Yes, VW plans when opening that plant was to exceed toyota in sales in the US, Can they? Yes, with their current offerings, especially the TDIs. Laugh all you want, VW is making a comeback and future looks really good.. And yes I own both a VW and Audi and two nissans.
  5. Bro, VAG, is looking at expanding that plant to build Audis or another VW vehicle (hopefully the truck). There's no way in hell they are going to cut and run, VAG is committed to outshining toyota in the US market.
  6. It's not Motrin 800mg? what, say it ain't so, did anyone contact the army and let them know
  7.   Sure, then I will have to deal with Family members that don't live in TN, that assume that I'm into country music, speak with a twang, I'm slow, and I ride horses all damn day..
  8. Why do we just wear PT reflective belts like the Military does on FOBs? I'm sure there's a few .Mil veterans that would enjoy that a lot..
  9. Okay, I'm going to ask regardless of what the price is going to cost, I see competition that to stop the Comcrap shenanigans. Like a full year of their digital starter and then after the year they change the channels and say you should never recieved that but if you want it, it 30 dollars more..
  10. Stay away from that place, it's very addictive.. the free stuff coupons will get you there..  got a few tools (mostly air) and a welder from there. sockets, rachets, etcs. I usually get from Lowe's when they are on clearance (they switch between real tool builders ) or Northern.
  11. Some please find that asshat with the TN NG patch and kick his ass..
  12. It's p0rn.. check his palms..
  13. Or for some of us that work in the IT field and have the pleasure of working from home either because we are lucky and employers allow it or because in the middle of the damn night we have to answer calls.. 1GB throughput would be nice..
  14. go to www.grc.com and use their tools to check your ports, also check your router's log. not sure what brand your router is but you might be able to slow down his connection if your router supports it. 300GB a month is a lot of data, I mean a lot of data.
  15. The guy posting on lightfighter is a Marine Veteran, 03 something I believe, they are on the ball handling issues and concerns and improving their product, the reason for the insert what due to failure point in those areas, another manufacturer is looking at doing the same thing.
  16. Sorry, but as Grunt, certain things we can not be without and TP is one of them, the shorter the better as long as it doesn't fall apart while wiping. Baby wipes were great but walking with a wet butt crack is not something I enjoyed so TP was always double ziploc'd and first on the packing list. And that was even in the jungle with all the nasty crap and shit that would kill or eat you.   We might be spoiled but, nothing like wiping with something that is not going to sand your butt crack raw.. Like army issue TP or even some civilian companies..
  17.     Have you ever eaten a MRE? In case you haven't let me explain to you how the MRE TP works..    - take little packet that you rip off the top cover - unfold the few sheets they provide you - you fold it in half and then half again - you rip out the top triangle and set aside - with the hole you just created insert your finger - wipe/scoop with your finger - wipe off with the sheets - used said corner your ripped off to pick your nail clean - wash hands   BTW, I kid, we usually carried TP in a ziploc bag with as much air out of it as possible..
  18. Quick question, what are your plans for this rifle? Distance - near, mid, long in yrds or meters?  that will help narrow down to what to offer you..  Variable or Fixed?
  19. I cranked down the front sight point and it's shooting still very low, same point of aim and same hold.. I'll have to check the front sight post to make sure it's a F marked.. I know every upper is different and specs are different, but you should be able to use a previous AR as a gauge to do a rough setup for zero, it was way off, compared to my other AR that is on the money @ 50 yards (I zero at 50 yards/meters)
  20.     Nope Hobson Pike, had to work and had like a 2 hour span to get some range time (most of which was spent on the AR).. Still need to owork on my ARs, Just wish I knew where I put my front sight post tools..
  21. Well after several months of planning finally got to the range:   Primary ARms Black Friday Mini Dot Special +100000 rough zero got a shot group, low and to the right, but good. Palmetto State Premium M4 upper - hmm, not all that, I used another AR that I got to set up a rough zero on it, low and to the right, cranked down a few on the front sight post and still hitting low.. Need to get some more trigger time to be certain, but not looking good for either the MBUS or the upper at this point.   Gen 4 Glock 19 - what a joy to shoot, unless you got big hands and have a TLR-1HL on it, kept hitting my finger on recoil.    Gen 3 Glock 17 - Mr. Dependable, goes bang every time.. I was off a little to the left but did pretty good once I slowed down.    Other than the weather turning south right when I was setting up my targets, stress reliever worked like a charm even if it was just 120 rnds.    if any of you was there between 2-3:30 (rifle and pistol), I was the guy with the fire clean lubricant and and shooting the wolf steel ammo.
  22. Aimpoint Pro on a good day under 400..
  23. maybe the writing is on the wall and he wants jump ship before it hits the fan.
  24. From what I'm reading, we are all in agreement that the black side of branches is where it's at and we are all recommending that side.. Good..
  25. Let's just hope he doesn't stop an off duty LEO on his little I'm a LEO trip
