  3. Fun stages Wiljo.
  4. Nope, those are for blanks...worthless. But I can take them off your hands for you.
  5.   Thanks, i'll check him out when the time comes.
  6. I just purchased a 1301 and hoping to do my first 3G next weekend.  Most likely won't tinker with it for a while but wondered if you could get this or lifter welding done locally.
  7. Where would one get that done in Mid Tenn?
  8.   Yep.  Hope its warmer than today.
  9. available at TargetSports.com  a little pricey but available and free shipping on a case.  FWIW   https://www.targetsportsusa.com/federal-automatch-22-lr-ammo-40-grain-lrn-am22-p-1967.aspx?keyword=automatch
  10. If real, wouldn't Gen 4 be printed on the slide?   guess not.  the 42 doesn't
  11. Supposedly Gander mountain will match internet pricing.
  12. Thanks for that info.  I saw some videos on youtube and of course they made it look easy.  You may have just saved me from screwing up some knives.
  13. Do you guys like this method over a sanding belt? I was thinking about getting a sander from harbor freight for about the same price.
  14.   Know what you mean.  I know my last term paper in college was on a type-writer.  The thing is, now all the drug information is on line so that google is the best starting place.  I've almost always found more than sufficient info here on TGO for most question I have.
  15. Thanks Musicman,  I do use google extensively.  I'm a pharmacist and google is actually my first source for drug information.  However, I've found that with things related to firearms and ammo, this TGO generally provides more than adequate information without being overwhelming.  As evidence, between yours, seez52, and my reloading books, I have enough info to keep me busy for quite some time.   Thanks bro
  16. I'm not familiar with 296.  Who makes it? thanks
  17. I've recently picked up a 38/357 lever gun (thanks to 221fireball) and want to reload some ammo for it.  From what I hear, it's just as cheap to load 357 vs. 38sp. but I've only loaded and have supplies for 38.  From what I've learned, 158gr RN bullets, 38special brass and CCI500 primers is ok but I'm looking for the what's best powder to use.    Looking for your opinions on powder and if I'm correct that the rest of the components are interchangeable. BTW, powders I have on hand are red dot, #5, titegroup, bullseye, unique, x-700, and win231.   Thanks for any advise,
  18. Also Bullseye, Power Pistol, Titegroup, LIL'Gun and 700-X.  At least a dozen of each.
  19. When someone buys from a wholeseller or other supplier and over charges, I ignore it. When someone buys from the same store shelve that I could have bought from and then over charges b/c it was the last available, it pisses me off.   they're trash.  jmho
  20.   No, if that was his intention he wouldn't have run out the last six rounds in under a second.  :D Fun time.
  21. I ordered this on Nov 1 and tracking shows it will be delivered tomorrow
  22. Ah Hell...here we go again
