My choice of pistol to carry as well as how I carry it, varies with my surroundings, weather and other variables. It would be very rare that I would open carry.

After passing the technician test, you can take the general test immediately, without paying another test fee. If the general exam is passed, you my follow it with the extra test. I've seen an individual pass the three tests in one day, but it doesn't happen very often.

As an owner of several Ruger firearms, I've had good customer service from them for over twenty years. I've only ordered ontine from ruger a few times but always had good results.

I eliminate all sources of distraction when I am at my reloading bench. As a new reloader back in the 70s, I managed to under fill a case. The bullet lodged in the barrel and was easily removed. The result could have been much more serious.

I've used Tung oil on stocks in the past with good results. I've read that Tom's 1/3 mix militarty gunstock wax is an excellent product for protecting walnut stocks. As I recently purchased my first M1 garand recently, i want to try this on its beautiful walnut stock .

The EMP 40 would be a good choice. Mine has been accurate and reliable during the 1-1/2 years I've owned it. I've used a variety of ammo in it without any problems.

Congrats on a nice pistol. I finally found one a few weeks ago. I was impressed with its performance at the range.

I've carried an Kimber Ultra CDP II for several years as I like the size and weight. My SA EMP 40 is very close in size and weight. Both have proven reliable and accurate in my use.
