  1. You can save your money and count the days until you're legal to purchase a handgun. I remember a time when I could carry automatic weapons in uniform but I still can't buy them.
  2. Some politicians would like your check to go to the government and they would give you the amount they choose.
  3. I started reloading back in the 70s but time became an issue during the last few years. After retiring I dusted off the equipment and started reloading again. I prefer my reloads to the ammunition I get at the stores.
  4. During the last few years on several occasions I would get a denial on a gun purchase which would later be approved. This problem occurred even though I was cleared and have a valid HCP. After the last time this happened, I completed a Voluntary Appeal File Form, obtained fingerprints and after a year wait was issued a UPIN. I haven't been denied on a purchase since receiving the UPIN.
  5. I'd be happy to shoot like that at 100 yards!
  6. That has worked very well for me for over 20 years. I've has more issues carrying a knife as it was visible.
  7. I was at Academy a few days ago. The ammo shelves looked like the paper products isle at Costco.
  8. Until they start taking orders, I can't get excited about the Dagger.
  9. Wiha tools are the best precision screw drivers I've found. There aren't cheap but damaging delicate mechanisms with cheap tools is more expensive.
  10. That hasn't worked too well. Why continue to do something that doesn't work?
  11. When you left California, you left their liberal control behind as well.
  12. This site allowed me to enter bank info this morning. Prior to today it would not allow it to be entered.
  13. Royal Range, west of Nashville.
  14. The location and local laws usually determine where you can shoot.
  15. After several failures during the last few years, some politicians are thankful for the current crisis. They need to remember that America has overcome very obstacle it's encountered in the past and will make a way to recover again.
  16. My first rifle was a Marlin bolt action. If my memory is correct it was about $13. The necessity to load and cock the hammer for each round made me learn to concentrate on the basics before firing it.
  17. If it starts as a rifle it's a rifle. If it was built as a pistol if can be changed. I've built mine as pistols, then recorded photos confirming it.
  18. The 10/22 is a good rifle. I've had one since 1977 and it has been accurate and reliable. However it doesn't get much range time since I purchased a Henry 22. There are many good choices in this caliber.
  19. I see a large number segment of the community wearing face masks improperly or not at all. A face mask doesn't provide much protection when it's doesn't cover the nose, only covering the mouth and chin. I actually saw face masks worn in this manner inside a hospital several times this week.
  20. It works the same as the polls conducted. You can obtain the desired result if you carefully choose where or whom is polled.
  21. I only have a few revolvers- S&W 586-8, 629-6, 442 and NAA-22MSC. I really miss my first revolver, a S&W 19.
  22. I used a mask and gloves for the few trips I've had to make to the doctor, UPS, Sam's etc. About half of those I see are taking no precautions at all. I have surgery scheduled on Wednesday and I'm hoping I can get in and out the same day without getting exposed in hospital.
  23. Which is more dangerous - virus or daily shootings?
  24. I'll be there in a few days. I 'm having a pacemaker installed in a few days. That bill would pay for NICE 1911 and ammo.
