  1. This would be a good combination for a day in Memphis.
  2. As a limited run will these have a serial number?
  3. I stopped going to the memphis gun shows after getting emails with discount admissions that they didn't want to honor when I got to the door.
  4. I'd prefer a 442 or LCP as a back up gun.
  5. I waited too long to buy an M1 carbine from CMP and they were no longer available.  I got a nice Garand last year and will get another this year.
  6. It's been a long time since I saw an EMP less than $1200.  I'm glad I've had mine a few years.
  7. In the last two years the gun shows in west TN haven't been worth the entrance price.  I kept seeing the same overpriced items at each show.  One local gun store has made the remark that the gun shows are now increasing the business at his store.
  8. Did you report this to them?  I shoot there often but haven't noticed this problem yet.
  9. Thanks for the warning.  I haven't been there before but was looking for places to shoot in the area.  This will not be one of them.
  10. I was worried that the shelves hoding my ammo would become overloaded and moved it to stackable containers.  This also made keeping an inventory easier.
  11. If I ever have a problem with the plastic guide rod in my Beretta pistols I'll replace it with steel.  The plastic has worked well for several years.

I used the Bright Sights paint on several pistols with good results.
  13. I haven't had any problem with my SR1911 using the factory magazine, but I prefer the Wilson Combat magazines for any 1911.
  14. I have a few guns made by Beretta but have never needed to use their service, as each has functioned well.  I look forward to owning a Tennessee made Beretta!
  15. I have more 1911's than plastic guns, but a plastic gun is carried more often.  I don't worry if I scratch a plastic gun.
  16. Check the CMP site for requirements and store hours.
  17. I sent mine in the first week of December and I received my rebate about six weeks ago.
  18. I prefer to carry a 1911 but size, weight and clothing usually result in my XDS or LCP being my choice.
  19. Congrats on a nice rifle!  I need to make another trip to the South Store.  On my last trip the racks were almost empty.
  20. I enjoy shooting my M1A more than any other rifle I own.
  21. I'm not paying the high prices some want for their .22 ammo.  I have a supply of it but will not shoot it as long as I can't replace it for a reasonable price.
  22. Instead of replacing mine with a larger tumbler, I use a second tumbler for a different caliber.
  23. I haven't used a tumbler from Midsouth but other than the color it resembles one I have from RCBS.  There's not much to go wrong with a vibrating tumbler.
