  1. How do you like your 442? I like the size and weight of the 442, but don't shoot it very often. It's a good decision to keep the 640, if you enjoy shooting it.
  2. You can't fix stupid.
  3. Only a week to go and I can legally carry the LG101! I couldn't carry it this week anyway as I'll be in Atlanta.
  4. I prefer to use local shops for guns as well as other purchases.  Most of my guns were purchased after comparing and handling them at a local shop.  Unfortunately there are no local shops for my amateur radio equipment and only one for scuba equipment.
  5. I remember seeing Raven pistols many years ago.  $15 each or two for $25.
  6. I've never thought about how I would ever sell a firearm.  I "need" every one I've got as well as the next one.
  7. #49 arrived a few minutes ago.  When I saw the crushed box end, I was worried untill I saw the knife remained in the box undamaged. I'm very impressed with this knife!  It's much too nice to see any rough use.  Many thanks to Willis, TGO and ProTech for making these knives happen.
  8. I use the same Crossbreed holster for the 9 and 45 XDS. :pleased:
  9. I have an XD45, XD40sc, XDS45 and XDS9.  None of these has been a problem.  They've been accurate, reliable and easy to maintain.
  10. A Rock Island FS-Tactical 9 mm has everything but the night sights.  I paid about $500 with tax and background check for mine.  Night sights and grips are the only changes this pistol will ever see.
  11. Tupperware is cheaper in the kitchen as well the range.
  12. Congrats on getting your HCP. I purchased Crossbreed Supertuck holsters for my1911 and XDS and they've been some of the best holsters I've owned.
  13. A few of my pistols cost over twice the price of my TRP and they are very nice guns.  But I'll never be able to out perform the capabilities of the TRP.
  14. I like my S&W 442 but I'd keep the LCP.  .380 acp is easier to find than the .38+p for the 642.
  15. One of the few things I've learned about the French is don't follow them unless you are looking for weapons in like new condition.  Going to Vietnam after them didn't seem to work well for us.
  16. I started to laugh, but it blew out the other end.
  17. Welcome to TGO and thanks for your service.
  18. I've had my LCP  for about 1-1/2 years and carry it at times when I would otherwise not carry.  I don't practice with it often but haven't had a problem finding ammo for it.
  19. This path seems familiar.  First it was the 1911.  Then it was Amateur Radio.  Now I'm starting another addition with knives.  At this rate, I don't need to start thinking about retirement anytime soon.
  20. Thanks for the time and work you've contributed on this.
  21. If was difficult to believe that a quality auto knife could be available at the price these are selling for.  I will not own a knife, gun or car that i can not trust to be reliable.
  22. I keep an inexpensive benchmade for opening boxes.
